No Good, No Good! Walking Mimi & Momo, I always walk them to my right closer to the sidewalk grassy area. For the respect of home owners in the neighborhood, I don't allow them onto their yard. Only the grassy area on the side of the street, not sure if that part is owned by the residents or the city, but I think they take care of it, so I make sure I pick up their poopies...I pick it up always anywhere anyways. So this lady comes out of her home & sees Momo pooping & she says 'no good, no good'. I look @ her, show her my poopie bag in my hand & I tell her, 'I'm gonna pick it up' & flash her a :D. She keeps shaking her head & saying, 'no good, no good'. I wanted to fling the $#*! @ her loll! We avoid that area like the plague... |
How could anyone complain about adorable Mimi and Momo? You were picking up after your pupster, and you keep your dogs on the "parking" (that is what we called it in Chicago). She shouldn't complain. I know that some people worry that another dog will come along and want to mark the spot and create a burn spot, but where do they expect dogs to go? Life is too short. Sorry this happened to you. |
How strange, it's not like you were leaving it. That reminds me, there's a guy that walks his poodles by our house and lets his dogs poop right in our yard and leaves it and when we said something he replied saying he's a lawyer and he knows his rights lol but then we said we'll report him and he doesn't do it anymore. But now he just lets his dogs poop in everyone else's yard. |
Moki will hold it till his walk. So we know once we start walking we have 3-5 min. I don't like to go in the neighbors yard but there is an area where he can go. As long as we get there in time :) But ppl understand and everyone picks up the poop in my area |
hey poop happens :D |

That lady needs a priority check. Just sayin. |
Some very funny responses loll! I get so annoyed when I see other dog's poop during our walk...I just don't understand why the owner doesn't pick it up! It's part of being a responsible dog owner, isn't it? Maybe they 4got the poopie bag? When that happens to me, I go back & pick it up, I have a stash in the car. I picked up poopies that were not my dogs' b4 (they happen to poop next to it & I didn't look down till they were done), it was so gross, all cold loll. |

I agree, picking up is mandatory. It's not only the polite thing to do when on someone's yard, but it is for the good of other pets who are out walking. We always pick up no matter where we are. |
I only wish I lived closer to y'all. We have to do poo bomb disposal before mowing the lawn. We have some good size dogs that are allowed to wander - bulldogs, pitties, labs, and lord knows what some of them are. I swear I think one of my neighbors is hiding an elephant and lets it roam at night. Sam has one corner of the back yard that he has made his poo spot. I have to constantly be on the lookout for grossness. |
There are much bigger things to concern onesself if you were picking it up i dont see why the problem |

I never walk mine in our neighborhood bc NO ONE picks up the poop. It's disgusting. I take mine out in front on our own yard only. There are two that are giving me headaches right now. One is right across the street. A little chi that the owner HAS to walk him over on our lawn, and no one elses. Not even his own! Sometimes he picks up the poop sometimes he doesn't. Then there is another guy. He walks his pit bull mix in the neighborhood. He lets him piss right on our front door! MIL has caught him many times. She told him not to do it, and he just walks away and doesn't say a thing. Of course his poop is gigantic too. So now MIL has put up barricades to block off the front door. I still see wet marks on the pots near the door. Also mine will go out and sniff really carefully sometimes, so I know when another dog has been there. Obviously this guy is picking up his dog and letting him inside the barricaded area (it's small gates). What nerve! MIL also says she's seen him let him off leash too. Can you believe a pit mix off leash running around? And he's not fixed bc his pee smells terrible so you can totally tell. I have to be so careful opening the door now. Even though there is a barricade, it could be the one chance that he's inside the gate and get one of mine. |

There have been times when Princess & Turbo are running along the side 'parking' (loll Kristin) on the grass enjoying themselves & they do a startle jump hop to avoid a big pile of poop & they get grossed out & walk on the sidewalk loll. |
That's cute that they know how to avoid poop. Most dogs would want to sniff it. Before I used to walk Uni in the neighborhood before I got tired of all the poop. There was this one old grumpy guy that we knew was the one doing a lot of the tattling on us and others in the neighborhood. Anyway, we were walking along, and Uni wanted to poop, and did her poop pose several times but still didn't go. But as soon as we crossed over onto his property line, guess who popped the pose for real? LOL. I wish I would have left her poop there for him, but of course I picked it up. |

It's always like that, we innocent ones get caught in the act so the home owner suspects it's us...c'mon, do u really think that other big pile of s#*! is from this little dog? |

Here in the UK the worst thing is the dog owners who pick up the poop and then leave the bags in a pile or fasten them to a tree branch or fence  If I ever catch someone doing that I will be letting my mouth go as it's the selfish idiots (for want of a better word!!!) like this who get dogs banned from areas  I've always got loads of poo bags in my pockets and happily walk along swinging my full bag :p :D I always double-bag it too so it cannot burst open when the bins are being emptied. |
They go to the trouble to tie them on fences?! WTH! |

Teddy likes to sniff poop that he finds and I do the same thing that you do, say "ewwww" so that he leaves it alone. Max is too proper and won't go anywhere near it. :p |

This whole thread makes me laugh...Elephants... poo Christmas ornaments...teehee... but the funniest part is the title. "NO GOOD! NO GOOD" I can picture some little non English speaking person standing on the curb, waving the index finger like a teacher, saying that.:yelrotflm |

Sometimes I tie a poopie bag on the handle of the lead & Momo likes to chew on his lead. I used the poopie bag to pick up his doo doo & there was a hole in it & I touched his poop! He must've made a hole on it when he was chewing his lead...so now, I don't tie the poopie bag on his lead anymore loll. Quote:

Well at least you have enough respect to pick it up and dispose of it properly ! Most people in our neighborhood will but some wont. I can not stand it when I am in the yard with my pups and catch them eating dog or cat s**t. Than have to deal with the GI issues. Im just so fed up with it. I told DH and the kids that if they eve see anyone letting their dog crap in our yard and don't pick it up to let me know. They may just find a little surprise on their door step or maybe I will take all four of my dogs to their yard and see how they like it !!! Deep breath and Done !! :D |
