Why Do people not look at the dates on threads before responding????? I'm seeing a lot of 3, 4 and even 5 year old threads being responded to.... |
I can't speak for anyone else, but sometimes I just forget to look. |
I think a lot of the time its a new member reading the threads and not checking the dates....I have seen a lot of old threads being revived lately as well....that's the only thing I can think of. |
I forget to look too. When I find out its old I'm like well duh! Sometimes I look at the last few posts and not the entire thread. That's what causes the issue for me. |

if you're talking about me saying that puppy looks a lot like Yorkiemommies pup; well, it does. And the thread had been commented on by someone else, so it was on the first page. I happened to look and thought it was a funny coincidence. Anyway, I see no harm in it. |
Sometimes the thread is old, but the information is still good. I think this usually happens when a member is doing a search on a certain topic and old thread invariable come up. I love it when new members are doing searches; we have lots of great old threads! |
I am very bad about not looking at the date on the thread, and then getting all involved, only to realize it is 6 years old....most people on here have been very patient with us that do that, gently pointing out it is an old thread! This senior, computer illeterate, lo tech person appreciates it! |

People keep saying mixed breed do I not belong on here because my dog that I have now isn't pure yorkie ? I'm just as proud of my MIXED BREED as I was of my pure bred yorkie if so please someone tell me and I will leave the site I didn't mean to make anyone mad of offend anyone with my MIXED BREED puppy whom is just ask cute an special as any other dog or puppy on here. I am new I didn't read the OLD post I didn't think it would be an issue someone else on chorkie forum I seen was curious about their puppy n I have chorkie n my friend has chorkie that looks just like hers again so sorry and last night mine had bumped her head and I was worried . Again please let me know if I do not belong on here I feel horrible that I brought up old posts and I feel bad to because my puppy is being referred to like she is something bad because not full yorkie and you may not mean it to sound that way I may be taking it outta contexts but call her chorkie because that is what she is . Sorry if upset anyone ;( |

Hell I did not even realize until yesterday that my Welcome gemy in the right hand corner went to a different color if I had messages. Before in my defense it only took me about two months to see something like messages or some such. And reading that I guess it is not too fast at all:( There is a great technological divide between us 50 something folks and I guess I don\'t know how much younger than us.
