We were coming home from riding in the Ozarks and saw the Edmond tornado!! According to the news it went across the highway about 20min behind us. Ive seen video of the devastation it left behind. I hope that all in that area are ok.

I live in the bottom left portion of Missouri. I'm up at 2 a.m. right now because of the wind I hear. Hoping for no tornado for tonight. Praying for everyone else in the path of all these storms as well.

It looks worse than a war zone in Moore, OK. Those poor people - this is the 3rd time they've been hit this bad? I hope they don't get more of this tomorrow - there is so little left now is huge parts of that little city.

Ch. 8 in Dallas is saying witness reports seeing children being pulled from elementary school in Moore, Ok. and that somewhere else in town they are reading off the names of the children who made it out. I just can't imagine.

Sending prayers to all effected by these horrible tornadoes. I am crying just watching it on tv. Lives have been lost and families torn apart. It is so heartbreaking.

now saying they are trying to rescue up to 70 people and National Guard on the scene helping, apparently at that school. One witness saw a third grade age child pulled out in pretty good shape.

Those poor parents searching for their young children. :( Praying for them.

I saw video of pets running everywhere too. :(:(

CORRECTION: Crews said it's no longer search & rescue mission at Moore elementary, now just recovery. Possibly 24 children still inside.

Praying for all that were affected by the storms. Especially those poor parents who lost their children. I can't imagine...my heart breaks for them.:cry:

May the angels surround those dear people in that horrible storm area. I hear some children have passed away from this and that it is just heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers will be continuing for these people.

And the hospital that was gone. Wow. The people that were hurt have no where to go. My heart breaks for all those people

I imagine they are busing and Care Flighting them to Oklahoma City or Norman. That hospital took a hard hit but the first flood was intact at least, with walls standing. Hope they had all their patients' bed down there and in the center of the building or in the basement.

How tragic and so very sad. The loss of so many precious lives the destruction left behind is unbelievable. I pray for all those whose lives were forever changed by this monster tornado.

They evacuated the hospital before the storm hit. Its more of a minor procedure, MRI, bloodwork, OB office place, however the ER was a level III trama center. If anyone is expected to stay overnight they are sent to Norman Regional.
