I just saw the most awful picture on facebook. EMT's were pushing a man in a wheel chair. This poor man lost both of his legs. His bones were hanging out, but no legs or feet...they were gone. I can't understand people putting this on the net. What if his family doesn't know about him yet and would come across this picture. This is so awful. Breaks my heart. And...him having such terrible injuries and having to sit in a wheel chair, rather than be on a gurney.

OH NO! That is just cruel to that man and his family! Oh, how horrible! So awful that there are evil creatures out there that take a fun day like the Boston Marathon and ruin it for so many. Facebook should keep things like that off of their site. That's so horrible.

I heard a woman say just now that she saw things flying that she thought were body parts. I just heard a man on ABC say he saw a guy with his legs gone from below the knee - wonder if that is the poor guy whose picture you saw?

I also heard there was a tent set up at the finish line for VIP visitors...and the families of Sandy Hook victims were there. Also the run was 26 miles long, for 26 victims of Sandy Hook..:(

I am reading 12 dead now on New York Post. I wish all of these news outfits would coordinate their info. One of the first 2 reported dead was an 8 year old child. :(

Oh, that is scary! Here is hoping that all stay safe across the pond and you all have no copycats of this or anything else goes wrong. I imagine it will have many feeling awfully jittery at highly-touted public events for the next several months. Who would think taking your little kid to watch a marathon race would wind up getting it killed or injured or panicked around large crowds? I heard earlier that one of the confirmed dead in Boston is an eight year old child!!! And I saw some film of one little kid crawling around trying to find a hiding place or something - right after one of the blasts.

It seems like the second bomb went off too early, thank goodness. I heard them say once again that the intent of two explosions, one shortly after the other, is to get people running away from the explosion and right into the other one to maximize injury and terror. I doubt many people had much time to get to that second bomb blast area before it went off. Boy I hope they get the gutless scumbag(s) behind this terror ASAP!

John King just verified this on CNN, said the guy wearing black with black backpack and when turned away from restricted area he broke eye contact and pulled his sweatshirt over his head supposedly just prior to the first explosion, I believe is when King said he was spotted. He then disappeared apparently.

This is so sad and been sending prayers for the victims and their families.

I did read posts from one of my friends via Facebook and she said that she had finished the race earlier and was safely locked up in her hotel room with her family. I imagine some of you are hearing similiar stories from your friends in Boston too.

This Boston terror attack just makes me heartbroken for the families and people hurt. Today it seems certain people just have no feeling for others. The bible tells us this will happen. No care or concern. How low can one go to outright kill another precious person. I pray for those who are responsible. The devil is behind all this. Evil is all around. It is in the minds of these killers. Pray for this to stop and our children to grow up in a loving world.
