Unbelievable theories people have! What kinds of minds think up this stuff? Did they say WHY they would all do that - stage the bombing? How about the deaths? Was little Martin already dead? And the young women and the MIT policeman? Or are they all supposedly still really alive?

Amazing attitude that mother and father have about the people who helped them and took them in - Americans! And then last year she's arrested for shoplifting $1600.00 in high-end clothing from Lord & Taylor in Natick!!! The father calling our police cowards, when they were heroes trying to keep those guys from running into one of those homes and doing who knows what or for all the police knew, trying to set off another bomb, the younger son runs over and drags his older, injured brother down the street and then takes off - not stopping to render aid to his own kin. Mom's a thief and both sons are killers of kids and policemen and maimers of so many others. The one sister they talked to sounded as belligerent and hostile as the parents. Only the one uncle sounded sad and sorry for what had happened.

I do hope authorities let the parents visit their son and then send them right back just because it's so like us - to be humane - but part of me is like you and wants them to say no visit!

Islandloverr, we all judge people's actions all the time, just as you are judging me and even FEMA, our media and our judicial system. See how it works? I judge them, too, at times. Those people on the internet with all of the wild theories are judging our leaders, first-responders and victims. People who come to this country from another one and speak up about it negatively are judging it and we judge them back and they judge us. We judge things this and other countries do and each other anytime someone or a country steps over our perceived lines of propriety. If you don't believe that - don't ever go on Twitter! lol But, yes, I am judging her for jumping to conclusions that her sons are not cold-blooded bombers, are entirely innocent and our officials guilty of falsely accusing them. Guilty as charged. I'm further betting that she and his father knew about his recent radicalization.

And I further believe if anything happens to change the investigators' minds about the mens' guilt and exculpate them, they will present that evidence, too, and go in another direction. Remember Richard Jewel and Eric Robert Rudolph?

When this first happened, so many of the commentators and writers said the bombers were likely members of an ultra right-wing white supremacist group. Judging! Others looked sideways as certain ethnicities - making immediate judgments about why as well. Many judged that a certain radical religious group was behind it.

I am proud that by and large, though, this terrible event has brought us together closer than ever as a country made up of immigrants and people feel pretty grateful this all was brought fairly quickly to a conclusion by our law enforcement community. Job well done.

As to your reasons for the why the Boston Bombing was staged as you were positing about, I'd like to have a link to those laws our legislators have passed under our noses as you say. Just provide a link to a source document for each and we can read them for ourselves.

As for our country wanting us to dislike "muslims" so we can support and fund violent actions against islamic countries, I don't see our authorities or this country doing anything but promoting tolerance of one another and even passing hate crimes laws to prevent people from harming them and others in protected groups. Our media and entertainment industry bend over backward trying to stay politically correct and not foster offensive or hateful or discriminatory programming against them or any groups. I doubt if this country were so offensive toward muslims or any group, so many of them wouldn't be trying to emigrate from their home countries to America. And I know our country provides billions in foreign and military aid to many countries, some of which are almost entirely muslim.

I just don't see America as the boogyman. She's imperfect and makes mistakes, as do all countries, but over all in this world, she is a force for good that provides aid and comfort to so many countries and her own downtrodden and disadvantaged. American seems to be the prime target destination of so many in the world who want a better life and if she were as you described, I doubt they would want to come here.

On a lighter note, after today's traffic jam, I sure wish I had myself one of those Lenco Bearcats to drive sometimes! I'd sure clear out the cars coming up behind them in one of those! What a ride that would be! They say the horn on that thing is amazing.

The speculation by the hacker Jester and the stuff he's found on Twitter is interesting. He has found tweets that *might* show that the brother did not act alone. FWIW (which isn't much, BTW!), I don't think they acted alone, either. They were living too well with no jobs.

I think once again you took my response wrong. I wasn't judging you. I was asking you to try to understand how she feels. while you were saying "how dare she..." I was saying "whats wrong with that?" No judgement, just trying to make you see the other side. but hey agree to disagree.

And once again the theories that I gave you were what I HEARD not what I believed or made up myself. Those were not reasons I believed the bombings were staged because I don't completely believe that they were. My reason for even posting in this thread was to say that some things sounded off....not that I believe the bombing was staged. I answered your question because you seemed to think that anyone who had a theory thought that the bombing was staged JUST for the sole purpose of blaming it on someone, and I was just telling you many reasons why PEOPLE believed it was staged. So if there are facts and links I can't provide them because I'm not the one entertaining theses theories. Just making you aware of the many theories circulating.

And yes America does racially profile muslims. When I get on the train and as soon as a man with a turban And a bag pack steps on everyone starts getting fidgety and suspicious. they didn't come up with those stereotypes by themselves, it's clearly put there. Just like when sandy hook first happened and all the details weren't in yet the news was asking was this an act of terrorism...and lets be honest...whenever the news mentions that name they're talking about radical muslims. unless they are informed its some other kind of radicalized group.

Oh and lets talk about the "billions America puts into foreign aid"....Or really to stick their noses in countries who CLEARLY don't want them there. But when Africa was BEGGING for American intervention....no one came! I find that very weird. And America isn't the only safe haven, MANY move to the UK. so America isn't the only top sought after country as you believe. And when immigrants come here they're not worried about American politics....they're worried about making money to provide for their family, that's why they come here.

Now I'm not making America into a boogeyman. To be honest I don't have to. look back on American history. It's filled with deceit and taking advantage of other countries. I mean hey thats what America was built on...them doing what they want....Stealing land, draining natural resources, importing slaves, trying to wipe out the natives. But it is what it is....I'm still proud to be American...but I'm not going to act like she's made up of sunshine and lollipops and everything that she does is for the betterment of the world. BULLCRAP! Everyone knows America is a very Power Hungry nation.

Oh, Islandloverr, I'm sure glad I don't live in your America. And again, I didn't indicate you said those things but was just addressing them as you were considering them - else you surely wouldn't have included them in your posts. Regarding the foreign aid, I imagine if any country wants America out and don't want the money, they just don't accept the wire transfer into their account. A simple block on the account will do it. And when anyone - a person or a country, funds part of an operation or a country, perforce one has a steward's liability to be certain how that money is being used. Further, treaties, ally status, and business agreements with countries give us entree into certain matters of state and vice versa. I could address your other immediate points one by one very effectively but for the sake of YorkieTalk, I won't take this part of the discussion any further. I'll let it lie for the sake of our doggie forum.

Thankfully, West, Texas has suffered way fewer deaths than the 80 some authorities were estimating the night of the explosion and I have heard the number now stands at 14. I haven't heard a peep yet about the dogs and animals killed.
