large and in charge. :( |
I am so sorry to hear that your head still aches. I hope your head feels better soon. Good thoughts and hugs. . .and don't forget puppy kisses |
How are you doing Priscilla, You feeling any better? |
It started up again last night, so maybe it's also stress related? LOL. I took some m ore meds last night, and then this am the pain woke me up about 6 am. Took another Aleve and was able to sleep for a few more hours. You should see how badly I bruise, I look like I was in a back alley bar fight or something. Plus the winds are kicking up here really bad and making my allergies act up. Uni also, she's scratching like crazy and breaking off hair and breaking skin in some spots too.:( |
Oh wow well I wish I had some miracle devise that would relieve some of your pain. DH is in a simular situation with his back. Im thinking its a bulging disc but with no insurance he sits and suffers and goes to work in Excruciating pain. We dont know what to do for him to help manage the pain. He's applied heat and has taken ibprofine and thats about all he can do but it doesn't seem to be working. :( I do have something that you may want to try for Uni. I heard that Halo Dream Coat can help with dog allergies and make their coat shinier. I jut orders some and started it yesterday. It says to add to food but the YT member who said she uses it puts it in the water, so thats what Im doing. Hoping for great results and a solution to their fall allergies. Oh interesting. i wonder what kind of oils it has in it. I didn't see any ingredients list. I do give Uni coconut oil but not everyday. I should probably start giving it again. As for your DH I'm sorry he has to go through that pain. I'm in the same boat, no insurance, so it's OTC stuff for me too. ;( |

I'm sorry you and Uni are suffering. My father has allergies and uses Allergy-D: All Day Allergy-D (L Perrigo Company) CETIRIZINE HYDROCHLORIDE 5mg, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE HYDROCHLORIDE 120mg tablet, extended release We call them "happy pills" because they seem to take care of everything, especially when combined with an Advil. They do interfere with my sleep, but they don't seem to bother him. |

If it keeps up, better go to the ER and at least get some cervical x-rays. With that pain in your neck at times and the numbness, it sure sounds suspicious for a neck strain/sprain or degenerative arthritic changes. Could always be neuro from your head but from the sound of it, it is related to your neck. I'd want the ER to check out neck x-rays long before they ever charged me for an expensive CT scan of the brain. I mean, yeah, if you had ins. get both but if I'm paying this visit out, I'd just want some x-rays and a cervical examination to R/O neck problems before they started in on neuro stuff. That all gets really expensive. Course it's cheap if that's what you need but you want to be certain you need it B4 they chalk up those charges. Sure hope you feel better soon. |
I have just realized I have gone more than 12 hours without taking more pain meds. Perhaps tonight will be the night that I get maximum rest and healing. :) |

Hoping it's gone. |
I hope you are finally recovering from this nasty pain. |
I can't imagine having a migraine for longer than what it takes to try to sleep it off. There are commercials that say something about "if you have 15 or more a month" ....my goodness I would be beside myself. I get one once in a while and total quiet, no light and rubbing my head gently where the pain is helps. I sure hope you are doing better Priscilla. |
