If your foot is dragging, oh, boy, you do need a look at what is going on! I've had foot drag before but thankfully it never lasted over 2-3 days at a time. I & the rest of us will so being praying for you and rooting for you and waiting to hear so hard that you will just have to almost feel us behind you!!!!! Hopefully they have slimmed those needles down some and decreased the depth of stick with all the new technology, etc. and it won't be so bad.

I always pinch the web space between my thumb and index finger with my fingernails when something hurts at the doctor's office - to get my mind off the area they are working on. It's supposed to help severe headache pain some guy on TV said one time but I use if for any pain, like when I get a deadening shot for a filing or get a nerve block or they are having trouble starting an IV, digging around. It helps a bit - takes your mind off the other pain if you pinch hard enough!!! Sounds silly but might try it if it's going tough.

Sure wish we could get you out of this somehow but as we can't, we'll be praying and thinking of you a whole lot tonight and tomorrow. Soon as you get home and can make it, let us know you've made it through and we can cheer you for being brave!

Maybe I can give the Dr a huge pinch lol

Yes Jon is coming with me. I don't know if I would be able to drive home after it. It is my right side. Also he wants to come for moral support. . . He is a great guy


I want to thank everyone for their loving words. . . . and some ideas for giving others the pain the needles are thick not like acupuncture needles. I have little bumps from the first time I had it done. That quack. Thanks for being my cheer section. It really is giving me the boost I need. Big Hugs to you all

I've never had it done nor have I known anyone so I have zero knowledge of the pain...but I'm sorry none-the-less.

Just keep your new baby in mind...and what you REALLY want to do to the docs

First yes this is a stressful time, yes the tests are awful...EMG.uuuuggggghhhhhh.awful I know...my sympathies, but remember the end result is a diagnosis and the unknown is more stressful...try not to worry or think ahead.

Have they ruled anything out? Have they said what they are zoning in on?

I will keep you in my thoughts, I have had them tests and they are awful, I'm sorry your going through this, I really am.

My friend Rosemary is having back pain and going to have acupuncture. She says it is working. I don't know if this is an option but I thought I would tell you about it.

Just a thought... I know they told me I could not have any pain killers or muscle relaxers because it could effect results BUT I could have my Xanax which seemed to help me tons on my last round of those two test sooo maybe you could ask if hey could get you some for the test??

Checking in on you, girl, to see if you made it through and out the other side! Hope things weren't as bad as you remembered them though I probably know the answer to that! I'm just glad that by the time you read this even if the tests were pretty bad, at least they over over.

Alisha, now that you mention it I think I remember something about that on mine, too, though it was sooo long ago. Ugh! Hope they let her have something.
