Okay I guess I messed up now. I did not know we could not put our contest we were in on Yorkie talk and it was a non topic thing?? So here goes.
Babybear as many of you know is a disabled yorkie. He was born with a congenital defect in his neck no one knew about. He jumped off my lap on July 29,2006 and broke his neck. He stopped breathing so my hubby breathed for him to the vets office. He had many tests done and all xrays and blood work. I was told he had no broken bones, but he was paralzyed. His liver levels were high so it was liver shunts. He was very bad though and they wanted me to take him to the ER for the weekend because this happened on a Saturday. I couldn't do that the way his vet was talking he wasn't going to
make it through the weekend. We took him home to be with us. If he was going to pass it was going to be with us not strangers. I stayed up with him all weekend I did not want him to pass alone if he did and I wanted to hold him as much as possible. Well Monday morning came(on Saturday his vet told us to make a decision over the weekend if he was not better we should PHD)
I called and made the appointment to have him pts. I called just before we were supposed to go and told them I could not do it. So I went and got him a second opinion. It turned out that he did have a broken neck and he had a congenital defect called Altantoaxial Instability(AAI for short). He needed surgery. He had it two days later.
When he came home he had to be still for 8 wks. That is usually hard with a 2 year old yorkie. Not him he was still paralyzed. He could move his legs in the back but not the front very well. I did all his therapies for him(still do) and I made him a wheelchair to learn to walk in. Then one was donated to him turned out to be a POS.It did not fit him right or anything. Well 6 weeks ago Babybear got a new cart. I put his picture in a contest and he is a finalist. We are trying to get votes for him to be the winner now.
But I did not know you could not ask for votes on the regular forums and was told my thread was moved here. HMM can't find it so I thought I would start a new one.

I was also soooo confused about the relocation of your thread and was worried you would not find it.

I refused to admit defeat with your signature! Do you know what operating system you computer is running? Is it Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows ME? Somehow, your computer is not reading/registering the code correctly. Maybe the answer lies therein. This whole link thing is sooo frustrating and I just so want everyone to have quick access to Babybear's Dogster page. It's so inspiring for people to see.
Perhaps your idea of asking Admin to do it would work, if nothing else does. Otherwise, I could put the "full" HTML code in an email to you, and you could copy and paste that into your signature. I cannot do it here because it will translate into the thread as a straightforward link, without showing the code that is embedded "underneath".

I wanted to confirm something with you. When you go to your "edit signature" page, you said that the link icon was missing from the toolbar. Here is a screenshot to confirm the exact location it should be in, then I want you to tell me if you can see it on YOUR computer:

I circled the icon in red and labelled it "link tool". It is the very same symbol that should appear in the little toolbar above the text input window where you are posting to a thread.

When i go to edit signature it is for sure gone. But in here it is right where it is on your little picture. I just don't understand. Funny they might have taken it off when i put a link to another group i am in on my signature. I was told that was not allowed to advertise another group. Heck I will probably get in trouble again. I guess that is my middle name. lol

Well it is a true contest. On Tuesday it showed i was the winner of the day of a IPOD Shuffle. This morning hubby was in the yard working on my truck when the Fed Ex guy showed up. In hand with a package. Hubby brought it in and said it is for you the guy said it must be expensive because he had to sign for it. I looked at the return address and it was from Picture.com. I opened it and low and behold it was a IPOD shuffle. I was in total shock. I was not for sure this was a true contest but this just proves it. But we still have the chance for the 10,000 dollars. Its easy you just take that usb cord plug it to the ipod and then the other end to your computer. and i think you have to go to their site to get the music.
i have a mp3 player. sansa e260 and i love it! i have over 800 songs on mine! :)

Oops! I forgot - there is a CD that comes with that iPod. On it, your will find an installer for a program called "iTunes". Make sure you have that loaded on your computer before you connect the iPod for the first time.
