I hate waiting on an answer after a job interview!! It's so stressful waiting and wondering grrr and I know I bombed on one important question that I knew the answer to but for some reason just went completely blank!! 3 day weekend and knowing my luck I will not hear anything next week then I have a 2 1/2 work week that I doubt I will hear anything then either.. Blah!! |
Keeping my fingers crossed! |
Thank you... You have no clue how much it means to me to have somebody that does not even know me standing in my corner :) I know my background speaks for its self and I did GREAT till he asked me what a GFE lol I went completely blank then as soon as I stepped onto the elevator and I just shouted out the answer while everybody stared at me like I was a moron haha |
Well, if you don't get this one - am sure there will be another coming along, though any interviewer worth his salt realizes anyone can have a blankout in an interview. They are super stressul. I always fed my brain with sugar right before I did any of the few interviews I ever did - or before I hit my bosses up for something special I wanted. It was a for sure cure to "the blanks" for some reason for me. A Diet Coke and a candy bar without nuts that would slowly introduce the sugar - no, I always ate a Milky Way or something with no extra protein so the sugar would zoom to my brain. Course after the interview or talk was over, had to go get a steak! If you aren't diabetic, hypoglycemic, or otherwise medically contraindicated, try the sugar cure next time or when you go meet your new boss. Good luck! I know waiting for something very very important can be agonizing. You try to forget it, put it out of your mind, but you can't really. That kind of waiting is No fun! Hope you hear good news soon. |
Firstly, what is GFE? Secondly, I am a firm believer that we end up right where we belong! I hope you get what your wishing for! Good Luck and DON'T FORGET TO UPDATE US!!! |
Lol my combo is Diet Coke and my anxiety medicine, I have really bad anxiety and social anxiety issues so talking about myself while being stared at by two people is not an easy task... Thank goodness I have a resume that speaks for its self and upper management that stands behind me 100% in my work performance and knowledge. Just excited because it would be up to a $15,000 a year pay jump. |
I don't know in her biz but I've always known that to be good faith estimate. |

Good Faith Estimate, it's an estimate of settlement charges and loan terms if you are approved for a mortgage or refi. |
Sending prayers that it works out or you. I believe if it is meant to be it will happen. If its not, then there is another plan for you. Hopefully you will know soon! |

I always found profound fatigue gigged my brain and put it into warp drive. Burning the candle at both ends and not eating much and I could fire off things before people got done closing their mouths. That and some sugar - and yes, or course, the Diet Coke(my standby drug of choice) always did the trick when I had a lot to get done or someone to persuade. It's not a lifestyle choice ;) of course but I found out by accident it worked well at times when I needed big words and lots of ready knowledge to get what I wanted or work really fast. |
good luck |
Lol everybody makes fun of me about my Diet Coke problem.. Do NOT speak to me until you see me have my Diet Coke in the mornings lol But thank you everybody.. I just hate the waiting part blah |
The waiting is a killer, good luck. |
I know what you mean about the wait... I've been interviewing for teaching positions and have had to wait 3 weeks before to find out that I didn't get the job. Very frustrating... I'm sure you did great and you will get it :) Let us know! |
