Thank you for posting this. I escaped domestic violence a long time ago. I was also very lucky to have a benign biopsy this last May. Ive blogged about my experience if anyone would like to read it. It is here: Life with kids, a husband, a cat and a yorkie-poo.. Someplace between the beach, desert or garage. | A place for me to put my thoughts |

It's so important to educate women about the importance of mammograms. Early diagnosis is so vital. I am 20 years old so hopefully have a while but at least I am informed of the issue. |

Yes, yearly mammograms are VERY important. If I had waited and not had mine done when I did, my prognosis would be a lot different. Don't put it off, ladies!!! |
Reading all these stories just breaks my heart. It really is devastating to think how many lives Cancer has touched. I am a 6 year Breast Cancer survivor, my sister died from breast cancer at age 40, my father had stomach cancer (he survived the cancer but the treatments weakened his heart). So many other friends and family I can't even count. The worst part about cancer was how numb I've become with emotion..and the treatment. Chemo and radiation. The best part about cancer....well you see life so different..little things don't seem to bother me as much. I just don't stress over things I can't control anymore. To all the wonderful ladies that had to suffer from Domestic Abuse my heart breaks for you. No one should ever have to go through that. Take care everyone. |
Not good news for women! |
