on a totally different breeder website, i saw this on their guarantee: "If any puppy dies for any unknown reason, it must be frozen and sent back to us. Then it will be examined by [facility of breeder's choice] before a replacement can be made." anyone think freezing and shipping a puppy's dead body back to the breeder's for an autopsy BEFORE any sort of replacement guarantee may be enforced is a little.... disturbing?? |

Well I had to take a look...such bargin prices and then they want to add 7.25% for sales tax....what a great way to make a few more bucks...I would bet they don't turn in all sales to the state- what a shame- |

HMMMM How weird is this... Here in Pa. We have a place with almost the same name who deals with lots of breeds and is ALWAYS in trouble with sick dog issues and such. Also been known to go under diffeent names and areas on the net. Name the same location is PA..... do a google |
Well foks what did you learn? We see this type of post every so often. We talk about what is and is not covered and the dogs look skinny- or of poor quality. Someone who posted on the thread will state they want a puppy in a week or two. What do they do? they turn right around and buy a puppy from a place just like the one mentioned in this thread or someone worse. Come back to YT and then start to ask questions and complain about the bad breeder and the poor quality pup that they were sold. What do you think should be covered in a health gauantee and why? How much is this guarantee and quality of the dog worth to you and your pocket book? |

Health guarantees should be at least one year and cover genetic defects. I've seen puppies who have had three year guarantees because their breeders had so much pride in them. I've also seen lifetime guarantees against genetic defects, but I think that's a little too much to expect, IMO. I got a one year guarantee against genetic defects and a 30 day non-genetic health gurantee. I bought Stewie knowing full well that he had a dry skin problem - it was obvious. I was in love w/ him and chose to treat it. I paid $475 for him and his guarantee. No genetic defects here and he's over a year old. |
Those poor puppies. They all looked pretty sick, sad. I love the sales contract sold "As Is". Sounds like she's selling a used car. Seems like she has had legal problems before from her sales contract regarding litigation and slander. |
