How many of you have 3 or more HUMAN babies and why? I have 2 children...girls...names Cheyanne and Savannah. I love them to death, they are my world. I am thinking of having one more but not 100% sure.Childbirth kinda scares me alittlw since my last experience. I was just curious on how many of you had 3 or more children and what made you want that many! Just a fun thread i thought! |
Good question! I can barely handle my 2!!!!!! |
I have 3 children...What made me want that many??? Well, I first had my two sons and so much desired a girl. So kept trying. Bingo! Got my girl and that finished it for me. :p |

I dont have any children...But my aunt (my dad's sister) has 6...First she had a set of twins (boy and girl) then she had one girl...then she had triplets (2 girls and a boy) Now they are all married and have(and are having) children...so she has 10 grandchildren...Her house is packed at the holidays! :) and so far no one else has had triplets or twins on that side...So we are thinking it might end up being me or my sis who might! LOL! |

Well, I have three kids, with the youngest just out of college and in grad school. I was an only child until 12 and I always loved babies. I wanted more than 3 kids but when I was expecting my third, the whole world asked if we were crazy and did we know what caused this condition  This made my husband and me decide three was enough and it was when I came home with number 3 and had two at home under the age of 4. :D |
I can barely handle 1! He keeps me BUSY. I know of a woman who had a boy. When he was 2 she tried for a girl and ended up with twin boys. 2 years after that she tried for another girl and ended up having tiplets, ALL BOYS AGAIN!!! She had 6 boys under the age of 7. I would kill myself! |
babies I wonder why you see so many people with twins and triplets nowadays? I mean people who did not use fertility drugs. It was so rare to ever see a set of twins when I was growing up..never even heard of anyone having triplets..it is better nutrition? |

Meanwhile my mom had my oldest bro, 16 mos later-the middle bro, and 13 mos later-ME!! She always says it took 3 kids before she figured out it wasn't the water that caused it!! :D :D |

Funny story... when we first got married, my MIL had been to a fortune teller in Atlantic City and called my hubby at work all excited..."I don't want to ruin your sex life, but the fortune teller said you're going to have twins!!" Twenty years later (and 5 dogs!) no twins!!! |
I have 3 kids...age 13, 10,and 9. I grew up in a family with 3 sisters...all of us born within 5 years of each other. My oldest sister is 10 months older than me. One of my younger sisters has 3 kids and the other sister has 4 kids. All 10 kids between the ages of 13 and 4. We have such a blast when we all get together! I would not have it any other way!!! |

I only know this because my grandmother had 2 sets of twins. One set died at birth and the other was my uncle's who did not know he had a twin that died at birth. He wasn't told about this until his daughter, Christine had a set of twins. So my generation is the one who would possibly have twins, out of 12 grandchildren, there is only 1 set of twins. Chris's husband also has alot of twins on his side of the family, which is also a great factor. Since my father was not a twin I am not AS likely for it to happen to. So just as long as there are no secrets in the family you should be okay. Okay, that concludes our lesson on genetics for today! |
Okay, I guess I should answer the question. I have 1 little monster. He is 3 and John has been begging for another one. Actually at the hospital right after I had him, he held Dominick for the first time and said, "Okay, now I'm ready for my little girl." I was like "NO WAY! At least give me a break!" lol. I only really see myself with 2. My husband and I were both middle children and we both had middle-child syndrome really bad. Of course it was our parent's fault for showing favortism. Oh, and yeah, the reason why multiple births is up so much is because of fertility drugs. That is why some women are having 6+ at a time. crazy! |

Ok now I will get on here- I was starting to feel like I had done something BAD till you came on and saved me, LOL I had 5- 3 girls first and I knew Dad wanted a boy but I supposedly wasn't able to have more and boom I had a boy and 18 mo later another boy and we said WHOA !!!!! They were great but are all grown and successful and families of their own - 11 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters ( see those girls run in the family LOL We do have 4 grandsons but half of that is a set of twins. Of course I gave away my age here and we tended to have larger families back then. Give thanks for each of those blessings everyday,( even when you have a pile of laundry, dirty faces or hinies and toys everywhere ) they are quickly grown and gone. |
HAHAHAHAHAHA QUICKKKKKKKKKKKKKK HAH I realized I will be on social security before the last one is gone off  I think I must have a screw loose :p :p :p |
We have five, three boys & two girls. My husband and I had our first son five years after we got married. We said we would have one, and adopt after that so we would have one of each. A year and a week later our second son was born. That was it for me. I was cooked! Then in 1998 three childern from the school I worked at lost their family, one boy two girls. We couldn't see them ending up in the system, so we adopted them. We are now one big happy family. :D |

You are so wonderful for opening your hearts to them! |
I don't have any children yet but I'd like to have children in the future. I would like to have 1 or 2 biological children and I am planning to adopt 1 child. My husband and I have decided to (in the future) use Children's Hope International -- CHI. They actually have a website which is http://childrenshopeint.org/ We would like to adopt from either China, Russia or Columbia -- we haven't decided yet. We're thinking strongly of adopting a girl but if I end up having a biological girl, then we will adopt a boy. But we would prefer a girl because (especially in China) there are SO MANY adorable baby girls that need a family to love them. |

Thanks, I know I couldn't see them be seperated from eachother. When I found out they were going to seperate long term Foster homes, I just couldn't let it happen. I had to pull a lot of strings to get them out, but it worked and they were so happy to find out it was me looking for them. They are all Special needs children, and just needed a real chance at a good life. It was so important for them to stay together. I really feel God sent them to us, we feel very blessed. :) |

We had 7,5 boys and 2 girls, knowing what I know now I would have had all Yorkies, love the grandkids too, 19 of them, but the yorkies are the best, plus they dont require a college education |
I have three daughers, 5 years apart. I come from a family of 7 children and my husband comes from a family of 6. I just wanted to make sure that my grandkids would have enough cousins! |
One of my best friends has 4 children- ages: 5, almost 4, 2 1/2 and 6 months. She's heard all the jokes and comments you could think of! She said 2 children was easy, and 3 children wasn't bad, but 4 is a lot of work. Her husband just mentioned something to her the other day that he wanted to have a 5th child. She calmly told him that since the baby is only 6 months old that they would obviuosly be waiting a while! Their house is hectic and crazy, but wonderful and so much fun! Go for a third child! I always wished we had a 3rd sibling to grow up with. I hope to have 4 children one day. |
