I got the iPhone 4 when it came out and I love it. I have an upgrade coming in October, so I will probably be going for the iPhone 5 if it is out by then. It annoyed me that the iPhone 4S came out so soon after the 4 was released. I would really like the Siri feature.

I had a BB Curve before, and although I liked the keyboard, it was virtually impossible to access the internet successfully. It was hard to navigate with the trackpad and it was slow. The camera was terrible also.

I know quite a few people who have had Samsungs and Androids, and made the switch to the iPhone.

I have the Galaxy II S and will be switching to the IPhone this October. The Galaxy does not hold a charge. You cannot see who is calling when outside, nor can you see the dial pad to make a call outside. The ringer is not loud enough, even with the volume turned up. It has no flash, so indoor pictures are out. It's a no brainer for me, to switch to the IPhone.

Stitches - sadly, the iPhone has pretty poor screen visibility out in the sunlight as well. It's one of the few faults I have found with this phone.

On a side note, super excited to hear about an iphone 5 potentially in September! My iPhone 4 is completely shattered and cracked on the back from being dropped way too many times w/o a case (stupid me) so I'm needing a new one, but was trying to wait.

they sell cases for them that are pretty sturdy

I had to go to AT&T a couple weeks back to have my phone fixed. (still have a slide phone) He told me the I could buy the Iphone 4 for 23.00...I'm SURE once the 5 comes out the 4s will drop in price.

This is more than enough reason for me not to get it!! One thing I love about my driod is the camera! The next phone I get has to have a comparable camera!

There is no official Siri App for the iPhone 4. You can download Vlingo or one of several other apps that are voice-controlled, but they don't have the same capabilities as Siri. Plus, you have to open the app first in order to use the voice-control, whereas with Siri you just hold down the home button to activate it...you don't even have to look at the phone.

I don't have Siri...but my husband does...so I know how it operates. *jealous*

I was faced with the same decison when trying to decide whether to get the Ipad 2 or the Samsung tablet. I went with the Ipad 2 because EVERYONE and their mother said its the best. Although I do love my Ipad and use it every day and barely use my laptop anymore, I do kinda wish I got the galaxy tab only because of the whole Flash thing. I didn't think it would matter as much as it actually does. Flash isn't going anywhere, people still use it to create content and it will affect your websurfing. Especially if you like reading blogs and watching youtube. I can hardly play anything on youtube, and the same selection of videos is not available on the YOUTUBE app for Ipad.

But...I still love it, its fun and useful and easy to use.

Now that I have a new upgrade for my phone, I definitely think I am going to stick with my Samsung. It has been SO GOOD TO ME!
I like that with the Galaxy II you can surf the web while on a voice call. Also, I prefer Skype over Facetime...you can only Facetime with other Apple users. All my peeps in Germany and Israel have Skype, its free and its been around forever.
Also, the Samsung is 4g, the Iphone4 is just 3G. You could get the Galaxy III and it has LTE, my friend has it and its SUPER fast! The difference is amazing. And the most important for me is the insurance coverage. Sprint covers Iphones but not if you drop it, loose it, or it is stolen. I have dropped my samsung THOUSANDS of times lol, dropped it in the toilet, spilled a bottle of champagne over it, so many things. 99% of the time it still worked (WOW) and when it didn't I got a new one WALA!

I will say the best thing about Iphones are all the cute accessories

I mean, I want a My Little Pony on my phone!

Well that is good that your Samsung has been good to you, my Droid was amazing the first year- Now it is a POS!! Haha. Also for me everyone I would want to facetime with has an Iphone, so it only makes sense to get an iphone – Also I don’t know what all the hype is about how fast phones are. My Droid is fast and it is 3G, the 3G is perfectly fine for what I do!

Does you phone have a flash??

My version of the S II (AT&T) has a flash on the back facing camera, I thought they all did from reading the specs. The front facing doesn't have a flash of course.

You cant FaceTime on your 4g network, you have to be on wireless... We have tango app though.

I only use Siri to ask her stupid questions. And she's only available on the 4s.

However, I have a droid phone for our office cell and hated it!! I switched with my son and went back to an older iPhone, just to get rid of the droid.

I have an ipad2 and use it in place of my laptop. I don't like the galaxy. We were given one as gift for attending a timeshare presentation, and I donated it to be raffles for a cancer walk-that's how much I didn't like it.
