http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...bFPe2sJIw1AEyu erhm...better than nothing, sorry! I remember Mom piling us all into her purple VW bus to go to Miami across Alligator Alley which at the time was a tow lane potholed filled road. God forbid you got stuck in the sludge on either side because you'd have a long wait for the next car to come along to take you to a pay phone! |

50s Sock Hops, the jitterbug, American Bandstand...then into the 60s...... the Twist, Mashed Potatoes...oh gosh...then the later 60s...Hendrix, the Beatles, the Supremes, Rolling Stones.... I have awesome memories of the 50s and 60s. :) |
OK well I am a 90's child!! LOL I know young... but here it goes, there are my childhood memories: Disney Channel Movies & TV shows were the best! And Nickelodeon, I grew up on both. Doug, Rockos Modern Life, Rugrats, So Weird!, All That, The Amanda Show, Kenan & Kel, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Figure it Out, etc etc. AOL and Dial Up OMG!!! It was awful. And you'd get kicked off if someone tried to call, hahaa. But we didn't know any different so it didn't matter. But oh boy was it slow. I remember getting our computer and I was probably like 6 years old and thought it was amazing. I had a couple of computer games I loved to play (I remember a 101 Dalmatians one lol). Pogs! Pokemon... Yup I collected them. Where's Waldo? books. I loved Full House, and America's Funniest Videos. And Boy Meets World. Fresh Prince. OMG my Super Nintendo, I loved my Super Mario Brothers. I remember when I got my Gameboy COLOR, I was sooo happy. It was like a cool thing to have a gameboy that actually had color. I collected Beanie Babies haha. Oh and DUH how could I forget my Backstreet Boy obsession... Really I am a total 90's child. I know there's so many more but I'll have to Google. |
