Pizza So I was just wondering where is everyone's favorite place to get pizza? And what is your favorite type of pizza? We do pizza night every Saturday and get Pizza Hut and we normally just get a half cheese half pepperoni. My favorite is normally cheese but I will eat pepperoni and meat lovers. |

I like homemade too! Alfredo sauce, buffalo chicken, provalone cheese, & red onions!! Yummy, but I'm doing weight watchers now so that's a no no:( |
My son makes my favorite pizza at home. Italian sausage, pepperoni, lots of cheese. Yummy crust. We have this about every two weeks.:) |
For our area, Pizza Hut has PapaJohn's & Domino's & Pizza Inn(doesn't deliver) beat as to quality & taste & presentation of the pie. They are far better in quality & amount as to cheese & meat, not to mention crusts. PH crust are light in the center & crusty on the surface, not doughy. They taste like garlic-bread. Have never gotten a Pizza Hut pizza with all the ingredients slopped on just anyhow & cheese sticking on the box lid. Plus, they don't drip with fat like the other three chain pizza's do. Being a pizza lover, as far as fast food pizza goes, Pizza Hut makes the absolute best here. I've tried them all. |

Mmmmmmm.....PIZZA!!!! For delivery, I love deep dish Pizza Hut create your own with extra cheese, red onions, chopped tomatoes, mushrooms and sweetcorn - mmmm....!! :D To eat in, we over here can't beat Pizza Express, I love the Giardinera which looks like a beautiful garden and has about 10 different veggies on including leeks - mmmmm.....!!! :D Oh, and every pizza I eat has to have a runny egg on the top - to dip the crusts in....mmmmmmmm....!!!!! :D Sally x |
My kids love to make home made pizza. I think it tastes better to them because they made it and it's fun! :) If we order out I personally love dominos hand tossed pepperoni, extra cheese, double mushroom. My hubby loves pizza hut pepperoni, extra cheese...WELL DONE. Lol. My kids love little Cesar's Italian cheese bread. If I didn't have to share I would just order me a hand tossed pineapple and tomato with cheese pizza. :D |
Oh how I love and miss pizza. Unfortunately NO ONE has a whole grain crust. Being diabetic sucks, white flour really spikes me so I don't have pizza often anymore. I make it at home some times with a whole grain flatbread, sauce and cheese, but it's not the same. My old fave was the Philly Cheesesteak one from Dominos. They don't always have it but OMG it's so good!! |
Friday is our usual pizza night. We get pizza from Papa johns, pizza hut, noble romans and a local mom and pop places that specializes in deep dish chicago pizza. We usually get a supreme because we like alot of toppings and breadsticks |

I loooooveeeee pizza. It's my weakness. Pizza Hut is my favorite as far as delivery/etc. There is a local place around here though that has slices that are my favorite. |
I think pizza is the worlds most perfect food! LOL we don't get it nearly enough though. I have to say I am big on veggies on my pizza, not meat so much. I like mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes, black olives, red sauce, garlic and cheese. I also like a Mediterranean, which would be spinach, feta, tomato slices, garlic and red sauce. Yum! I like Hawaiian, ham & pineapple. Up here there is a place that has a pizza called the Brazilian, it's a modified Hawaiian, they add bacon & chicken to it. It's the only meat pizza that I really like. |
A place called Blue Baker has a pizza with pesto sauce, chicken, spinach, and pine nuuts...OMGGGG! Best pizza EVER. |
Pizza pie I love...love ...love pizza. Pizza and spaghetti with meat balls or ragu sauce is my favorite meals. I love thin crust pizza.. New York style pizza. I like sliced tomatoes and lots of cheese. My dh is sooooo pickie about foods he will not eat from most chain pizza places. There is a annacpries near here he likes. I often make pizza at home. Public now sells the dough in the bakery .. All you have to do is shape it and put your toppings on. I dust the pan with cornmeal to give it a bottom that is more like a pizza pallor. I can remember my first pizza...I was 4 and I parents took me to a place in new york . There was a neon sign in the window that said pizza pie...how long has it been sence you habpve heard pizza called pizza pie????? |
If we could find a GOOD pizza shop we would order thin crust with half pepperoni for the husband and the other half would be mushroom for me but...... As much as we like pizza it's hard to find a place that has GOOD pizza. The sauce it either too tomato pasty or too sweet. Or, they put too much sauce on the pizza so when you hold a slice it hangs down and the sauce plops off taking the cheese with it. That is definatly a no-no. They also are skimpy with the cheese and toppings. The search will continue....... |
I usually prefer to make my own (use the Publix dough also, its awesome). Last week I ordered a pizza from Dominos the Artisan Spinach and Feta, Oh my GOODNESS it was GOOD!!! Seriously, I want it again right now Good. |

I love pizza and miss all of the great pizza places in Chicago. My favorite was Cafe Q, which closed its doors when I moved. Maybe they couldn't live without my business. ;):D I love spinach and tomato pizza. Now I make my own at home using Mama Mary's ultra thin crusts. Yummy! |

I teach food production and one of the labs is pizza.. the kids love it. I try to get them to "think outside the box" and put different toppings. The spinach and feta.. that does sound good.. was it with a sauce? My dh HATES the sauces so I just put a little olive oil, seasonings, the toppings and because he does not like cheese I use often use feta. BTW.... I had to laugh at myself... Yes.. the store is publix.. not public! I am so bad at proofing my stuff |
This thread led me to plan to order Pizza Hut Pepperoni for lunch. And I agree that PIZZA IS THE PERFECT FOOD! |
