Zimmerman did have injuries

I rarely speak on political/religion/or hot topics. I just want to say this: There are no witnesses, there is a 911 tape where Zimmerman was told TO NOT FOLLOW the 17yr old young man. Treyvon lived in the neighborhood and was going to the store for candy and talking to the girlfriend on the phone. Zimmerman, after being told not to follow the young man BY THE POLICE, followed him anyway and ultimately ended up killing the young man. The young man did not have a violent hx, nor did he have a criminal record. Zimmerman had a 9mm gun and a criminal record - Walker had a bag of skittles and a can of pop.

I don't deny that Zimmerman had injuries, many people who are fighting for their lives leave injuries on the perpetrator, many cases are solved because of this.

A close family member of mine died a horrible death many years ago as did a dear friend, both were murdered, both left their perpetrators with injuries, as they fought for their lives, and both perps were apprehended because of this.

There are two sides to every story; however, one side will never be told, the fact remains that Zimmerman at best should not have followed the young man, and the young man should be alive today, if the adult Zimmerman did as he was told by the police dispatcher.

By the way, I am the wife of a police officer, a military family and I have guns in my house, i support the NRA, and I am prepared to use a gun if I need to.

No one knows if he continued to follow Trayvon and everything I read keeps saying Trayvon did not live in that neighborhood.

Your post as well as the link you provided contain many misleading and inaccurate statements...just sayin'

I can't wait until the trial so we can all get a more accurate accounting of events and evidence. It's a shame, either way. One young man is dead and another's life is ruined. Tragic no matter what:(

It is something that a lot of people feel passionately about, and we should just wait and see what happens in court. I have my opinions, but I'm not going to go starting threads to get people riled up...

I just wanted to say, I am so sorry that you experienced that. It must have been incredibly painful to lose those people to violence.

I am not trying to rile anyone up. A lot of people didn't think he had injury's so I was just sharing an article that I read that's all.

Surely folks here are mature & disciplined enough to discuss things without losing control. Everyone has opinions, passions & emotions but that is no reason to disparage or make rude remarks toward another YT'er who disagrees or asks questions. Come on, ladies & gents, we're better than that. We rely on each other in so many, many ways, you can't tell me we can't tolerate one another's posts on "touchy" subjects. Sometimes the best way to learn about human nature & gain new insight is from another who has a totally different viewpoint on a subject.
