I don't think the child went into the tanning bed... listening to her, I just don't think she let her kid tan in a bed. BUTTTTT... doesn't think woman look ridiculous? She looks like someone painted her with chocolate. Her face is sooo weird looking. I feel bad for her, she's definitely got an issue with self image or something. |
The kid seems fine, the mother is the one that needs help!!! What is wrong with her skin? It looks like old leather shoes. |
I saw this on the news last night and again this morning...there is something seriously wrong with this woman. I used to go to tanning salons but quit about 5 years ago..Even going every day you don't look like she does. She has to be tanning longer than the recommended time and probably multiple times a day...she doesn't even look human |
you can still be exposed to the uv light so i am assuming her child is in the room with her and if shes not putting those uv protector glasses on her daugther well thats a problem. and if you have to bring your child you shouldnt be going and nor does she needs to tan anymore she looks like dirty leather. gross. and that poor child. she obviously does not put her childs well being first. |

I used to work at a tanning salon for many years when I was younger. I hardly ever went tanning... but you'd be surprised (shocked probably) on how many women came in with kids and brought them in the room with them. Happened all the time. Although the rooms tend to be small, the rays are concentrated to the bed and do not radiate out like sunshine. A kid sitting in a chair in the room 5-10 feet away from the bed would be very minimally exposed if at all. |
I've seen people unnaturally dark before, but I've never seen anyone look like this. This woman doesn't seem to realize that she has a problem. The child did have a sunburn and says she got it from going to the tanning room and all I can say is good for the school for getting involved. I would hate for mama to do this to her child's skin. |

Her poor kid is a REDHEAD---They burn so easily, so any exposure to the tanning bed AT ALL would be dangerous for her:( Her skin looked awfully dark (the daughter) when she was on the news, for a redhead. This woman actually had the audacity to say that others that don't like her tan are just ugly, fat, and JEALOUS:laugh: |

I think I heard on TV that the child's teacher saw a sunburned child and the little girl said she had been in the tanning bed with her mother & the teacher reported it. But that woman looks and acts weird! She looks as if she is coated in chocolate as posted above in that one video!!! A freakish look! She was saying this a.m. that people were jealous of her for various reasons(either fat or ugly - something like that) & that is why she is having these problems with police. I say anyone that disturbed & lacking that much self-awareness to fail to realize how very weird they look & how badly they are endangering their own health, is headed for problems in several areas of life - as well as any children in their control. I wouldn't put it past her to have let her daughter in a tanning bed as the little girl is so fair & momma so besotted with looking dark brown herself. If you notice, even when she is less tan in some videos, she has her hair color very light & is wearing very pale pink lipstick to enhance the darkness of her own skin. I just hope she's not a melanoma patient within a year or two!!! |
I tan (not on a regular basis) but I would never ever take my children with me period. Not even to wait in the waiting room. I'm sorry but the first time I saw this and I saw a clip of it I really thought it was about her suing the tanning place because of how horrible she looks. I mean she seriously looks like an orange. i wonder if anyone has told her how horrible she looks I mean does she really look in the mirror and say dang I look good? I wouldn't show my face out in public like that. |

Ok wait a minute I've been thinking. The word "tanorexic" is supposed to mean someone who is addicted to tanning right? But it's a play on the condition "anorexic", which is someone who starves themselves, so wouldn't a "tanorexic" be someone who "starves" themselves from sun? I think I'm a "tanorexic" in the true form. Is there something that rhymes with glutton and tanning? There's your real name for the condition! |
