Just wondering....have you ever had, or thought about having - those individual semi-permanent eye lashes applied?
I used to have them years ago, when I used to swim in the sea a lot - mascara wasn't that waterproof, and eyelash tinting wasn't 'thick and dark' enough....:D Looking back, they were excellent....:) | I had eyelash extensions done before. Cost me $100 and NO ONE NOTICED. I had them done before a bday dinner where all my friends were in attendance. No one said a thing about them. Not only t hat, but in the morning you can't rub the eye boogers out your eyes. If you sleep on the side of your face they will be all wonky when you wake up.
My sis had lash perming and tinting done before. It had okay results. Meh, I say. I don't want to look dolled up everyday. I work in a bike shop for crying out loud. Not like they don't take me seriously enough as it is, imagine if I had long fluttery lashes? LMAO! I guess I"m just gonna stick with the falsies whenever i got out. Once in a long while! Quote:

That tiny brush may be for the lower eye lashes. Clinique just came out with mascara for the lower lashes and it has a tiny brush.
I have a really hard time with mascara. I have tried all kinds of drug store ones and they dry out and flake off into my eyes by the end of the day and I'm constantly rubbing my eyes, smearing it off and making my eyes red. Its annoying. I switched to Clinique, they have a brush that one side is a comb. Its perfect to brush on and thicken lashes and then comb up and lengthen lashes. Plus it does not dry out and flake off. I do find now though, that 6 months is the longest I'll go on 1 mascara. A new mascara every 3 - 6 months is ideal to keep it from drying out too quickly. I hear Christian Dior mascara is great, but its like $25 a tube. A little steep for me. | Tiny brushes for lower lashes are just right for my upper ones!:eek::thumbdown
I don't like the Diorshow mascara, the brush is just WAY too big! As I mentioned earlier, I was using the Maybelline Lash discovery brush in my Diorshow mascara, but had to wipe off he excess. It was still just barely ok.
Waiting for my Avon to come in! Hope it comes in before the concert. |
