Here I am in a conversation about tats!!! I know NOTHING about them or the people that do them...but this person that you are thinking about having do yours, sounds like he is realistic and thinking about some issues that maybe other people have concerns with, after the fact. He sounds like he is a "responsible tatoo person"!!!!! I love the design....my first idea also was piece of jewelry, but with your job, yes, that is a no-no, for all the right reasons....infection control issues and crazy patient issues. I have young cousins that have dainty little things on their ankles....THAT has GOT to hurt!!....and one has some little thing on her wrist. Good luck with this, where ever you decide to put it....it is a very touching design, which I love...If that is YOUR own creation, I would suggest you give some SERIOUS thought in having charms or other kinds of jewelry fashioned in that image. I think there would be a very successful market for that piece, and it could be a source of a little additional income! | You sound like you’re my age! I have gotten use to tattoos on some people, and actually really love them on some, but so many start to look dated in 10 years or so, for example, the tramp stamp above the butt. Also they can look bad, if you gain weight, I loved a chain around someone's upper arm, but then she put on weight and it no longer looked cute. I don't think a tattoo should ever be done to be trendy or make a fashion statement, but it should just be something you love so much that you want it to be a part of you always. I like your idea of having jewery made with the paw print and wings, I've seen wings and hearts, but never a paw print.
By the way, if I had been younger, I'm sure I would have had a tramp stamp, so I'm certainly not judging anyone. :D |
