Mega Millions How many of you bought tickets!??! If so, what would you do with the 500 million!??! I would donate most of it, because I think having THAT much money would cause a lot of problems. Then of course, i'd quit grad school, and perhaps get married and purchase my dream house... oh and a couple more yorkies :D |
Tuesday I bought 4 tickets, one for me and 1 ticket for each dog. We didnt win so we will play again tonight with the hopes of winning and opening a state of the art animal rescue facility, buy a new home and expand the fur family! Good luck to all players! |

I am going to buy tickets on lunch today! I have NO idea what I'd do with that much money.... I can just say that a lot of people around me would be VERY well off and so would quite a few charities. I think I'd give away at least 1/2 of it in $1M chunks to almost everyone I know! Give our house away (paid off of course), give our cars away (paid off of course), take a trip somewhere for a very long time. I really want to do something that would benefit the economy in our town, put many people back to work and just better the lives of many people. |
I never buy tickets ...but I bought 2 yesterday. Winning for me would be paying off the debts of everyone in my family ...donate a lot to charity and then buy a state of the art RV, sell the farms and travel extensively with DH and the furkids:) Oh and buy my kids and DIL brand new cars. |

It is fun to dream. I felt silly going into Shell yesterday and asking them how I could get a couple of tickets. I am such a Newbie to stuff like this. What would I do? I do not have a clue... I hope I would be generous to my favorite nonprofits and save more for retirement. |
I'm buying a ticket and if I win, I still have my plan to build the Yorkie Talk Disney World. It will have a dungeon to keep Mike, the Dictator of Banning Land. :p |

LOL What would I do with the money. Pay off bills, buy a new house and car. I never play but I caved in and bought 3 tickets. I would pay off my older son's student loan, pay for my younger son's college tuition. I would donate to animal rescue groups and pay off my mortgage and invest some. Good luck to everyone! |

WE did buy a couple quick picks, but if we did win anything, I hope it wouldn't be the entire amount. Anyway, if we ever did win a large amount of money, we would give it where it's needed the most and that would be our headache, just finding the right places it would do the most good. Not to friends or family. We don't even put our boys in our will. We would rather that they remain the close friends that they are now. I know all too well how leaving things to kids can make them enemy's with each other. |
Hubby just got back from buying our tickets. If I win, I would make a giant pile of $100 bills in my front yard and roll around in it naked. Then I would use the leaf blower to blow the money into the air for the crowd that gathered to watch my spectacle. Not sure what I would do after this but boy I would be a legend! |
So.. I was thinking. Would you come forward with your winnings? I think I would want to claim it anonymously..... but I'd end up getting too excited and tell everyone, and then it would be pointless! |

I would donate more to Yorkie Talk, Pay all members' vet bills and see all dogs were vetted, build a state of the art vet facility complete with MRI and labs, rehab and boarding and rescue. Special flight facility to fly pups and owners in for treatment and a hotel for them to stay in for free while getting treatment. Then I'd buy a house, and an island, and a car or two. :D |
