Tornadoes strike Midwest..... Praying for all my YT friends in Kansas, Indiana, Alabama and Tennessee, and any other states that also are dealing with this wild weather. God be with you and stay safe. Please check in with us if you can. |
Thanks. It's pretty calm in Indianapolis right now...just windy. We had a big storm this afternoon...thunder, rain, a little hail, and lots of wind. We were supposed to have an all night lock-in with the kids at church tonight, but our youth minister canceled it to be on the safe side. There were some concerned parents. Hope everyone stays safe!!!!! |
We have had tons of watches and warnings today in my area of TN. I have had the weather radar up on my desktop at work all day. At one time a tornado was spotted and a warning was issued that it was headed to the little community where I live. It scared me to death to think of Jada and Bogie at home by themselves with a potential tornado headed right for them:( I am lucky that my inlaws live right behind us, so I called them and told them to go to the house and get Jada and Bogie if it looked like it was going to get bad. Thank the good Lord that the storm weakened. It is still really bad all across Tn right now. The local channels are all just showing weather updates and warnings. All regular programming has been preempted. Prayers going out for everyone affected by this huge storm system. I hope everyone is safe and there are no fatalities. Looks like we are in for an early and long storm season this year:(:( |
I am praying for all of you that are dealing with this. We don't usually see them out this way. We get hurricanes and they can be scary because we are so coastal, but I can't imagine how you guys are feeling. Well, keep checking in so we know that everyone is safe. |
Praying for all in the path of the storms. My niece lives in Murfreesboro, TN. She's a teacher and they let everyone out 2 hours early today in advance of the storms. |
I'm watching the Weather Channel and they're showing live coverage of this crazy weather. Sending positive thoughts and prayers to all who live in the storms' paths. |
Send prayers our way...we are under a Tornado watch now and funnel clouds are being seen the next county over....they are telling people to take cover. |

So far we haven't had anything but wind and rain. Other areas of our county are being hit a little harder. Bad thing there is another big straight line of storms in the middle of the state heading this way too. Hopefully this storm will start breaking up soon. It is just to warm for this time of year and then the cold fronts move in and it causes so much unstable air in the atmosphere. I hope everyone stays safe tonight. Thanks for all the prayers...they are keeping us safe:) |
I have just settled down for awhile. I know there were tornadoes all over the place today, but I wasn't able to listen closely enough to hear where they were. I was at work. I hope you are all safe. I will catch some news and weather now and see if I can catch up on where there have been tornadoes today. Those in the path of these storms tonight, I hope you will be safe. |
Also praying for my DD and her BF driving from Michigan to Florida tonight of all nights   :( |

Hopefully everyone had a quiet night...please check in with us so we know everyone is ok. Michelle hoping the prayers kept storms away. Sugarmamma hoping DD and BF are safe as well. |
Storm hit our area at 11:00 pm last night. DH was asleep and snoring:p Jada and Bogie and Max the cat and I were in the hall with blankets and pillows and my cell and laptop. The satellite went out so I kept the laptop on the radar. It was scary, but I think the worst was a little south of us, just by about 1/4 mile. On my way to work there were lots of barns and houses with roof damage and trees debris all over the road. It could have been a lot worse. I don't know how people who live in tornado alley stand the stress. I was scared senseless. Thanks for all the prayers...ya'll covered us good:) |

You are just like me! Those sirens go off and I freak. DH and skin son are looking out the window like future storm chasers........I'm usually in hiding! I know it hit MO the other day.....bounced right over us and hit the other states next to us. We had sirens, hail, and winds yesterday, but no damage. I am hoping everyone is ok!!!! |

It breaks my heart to see all the destruction on the news. I am so sad for everyone involved. Praying all are ok. |
We are way out in the country, so I have to depend on tv and radar on the internet. No storm warning system here:( |
Storm was bad here along the IN /KY border but we did fine. Really high winds. Will never see those garbage cans again! 18 miles up the rad they got slammed- all the school destroyed and most of the town. Cali did not like the sirens:D |
