Just took 6 bags of dog food the the animal shelter that has been rounding up all of the stray dogs who made it through the tornado (many did not make it,but that does not make the news, of course) and 10 boxes of diapers. They have lot of things being donated for adults but need thongs for adults. It need toys and tsupplies for babies and toddlers. So very sad, and we were so lucky!!!!!
Right in the middle of being sequestered in the doctor's
office hallway when it hit they admitted my mother to the hospital right afterwards - I kept Cali with me the whole time - she was soooo good - never made a peep at the doctors or in the hospital. She spent the night sleeping next to my mother in the hospital bed inLouisville. I was really grateful she uses piddle pads:D
She was the hit of the ER and many of the doctors and nurses commented that they were worried about their pets at home.
Blessing too all those who have been in harms way. Don't know what we would have done without the National Guard in all of this. Henryville Indiana lost every one of their 3 schools. |
