Colton still going strong! Anyone see tonights episode? Colton did a nice job this week. Didn't at all seem like he was ready to through in towel. I'm not sure how he felt about Jeff outing him on national TV. The look on his face was like "who me". lol I was wondering about the question that tarzan asked Jeff right after tribal council though... its funny that my tv cut out at that exact moment. Not sure if it was a bleep or intentional by the producers. Colton said "leave those questions to me" What was the question? |
He asked if Jeff could tell them the last two votes. |
Yea!, for the women doing a little better this week. Guess Linda is not going to have to whip them into shape this week. ;) Is anyone else finding Colton and his group entertaining? |
I have to agree - this season is terrible so far. Those women are so embarrassing to other women! I could not believe not one of them attempted to start a fire for any length of time, and they just kept begging the men for fire. So embarrassing. |

And, too, the women hold the power over the men when it comes to the men borrowing the boat and fishing equipment!! Are they too dumb to see this and use that power?! The men were trying to ramrod the deals about using the boat!! Really embarrassing! |

Wilderness competence aside, I think it's an interesting dynamic to see the women get what they want out of the men without offering anything up. The men, so far, are all talk about deals. I'm actually embarrassed for them. They should spell out the deal before giving anything up. If the women say they would need tribe approval, tell them to leave the men's fire and go get it. In real life, yes, you'd allow them to share the fire and shelter without expecting anything in return. But this is a contest for a million dollars. I continue to think Colton is one of the more entertaining people on the island, and his intelligence is starting to shine through. Though he wanted the other guy off, he didn't bully his alliance into it. He switched to the guy who was voted off, and I'm thinking that was the smartest move. That roosters and chicken conversation showed his true colors. He also brilliantly told everyone that he was going to play the idol -- then he didn't play it after the vote was in. Best move of the week. |

He was like idol, what idol? ...But how long do you think that little trick will work. "Fool me once sham on you, fool me twice shame on me" With the women winning twice in a row I doubt that the men will be willing to help them as much, if at all. I hope they strategies and find a way to get what they need without causing friction with in their own tribe. Or they could just steal an amber/fire again...!! lol |
I don't think Men vs Women should have mattered to the girls. This is Survivor....not Jersey Shore. I agree w LJ; they should have come prepared to play this game and bring skills to the table - other than begging for shelter and fire. I am not impressed by them at all. |
Did anyone watch last night? |
Yep. Kind of crazy. What really has me intrigued is the snippet from next week. I am about to go check the spoiler forum. :D Don't want to wait. |
I saw it and was shocked ! It was a first....Those men dont mess around do they. But kind of took what should have been a vote based on morals and trust and totally turned it around and voted for someone totally on likeability. |
Colton doesn't mess around! I'd be terrified of that guy! I don't think he came off well from what they showed -- voting someone off because he didn't like him because he was poor. But you never know how bad it was for him and what pushed him to the move. Bottom line is he's a major player in the game. As for the men giving up their immunity, I don't think it's unprecedented. Others have thrown competitions just to vote someone off. This seems like a notch above that when it comes to morality. We'll see how it plays off in terms of whether it was smart. |
