The Bachelor Is anyone watching this season? I PVR'd and watched both episodes last night. What are your opinions of Ben and of the girls? |
I'm crazy over Ben. He's the most real, down to earth amazing bachelor they have ever had so far. He's not a rich jerk, he's not full of himself. He's sweet and loving and family oriented. So far I don't see one of these girls actually good enough for him. I can't stand Blakely, don't like Courtney, don't like that ugly blonde lesbian acting one, just not sure i like anyone yet. I just love Ben and want to protect him from these crazy women who don't have what he really needs. There is a girl from around here on there. Casey something from Leewood, KS. wonder how she'll do |

Is she the one who got the first date in his hometown? I like her the best so far. At the end of last week's episode, they did a preview of the season, and there's one part where he and Courtney (it looks like) are down on the beach and they make out on the beach and then strip down to NOTHING and run into the ocean together naked. From how the preview made it look, the other girls were watching. I don't like that. |

Ok - truth? I cannot stand Ben and don't find him attractive at ALL. This batch of women seems worse than what I have ever seen. I feel like this show is on it's last legs. One thing I did like about Ben was how much he likes his dog! |

Physically, I just don't get what women see in Ben. Do they like the hair? Maybe that's what throwing me but, I lived through the 60's when guys were first growing out their hair and hadn't learned to wash it yet. The 70's they learned to wash it, and the 80's they were styling it more than women were. Ben's hairstyle reminds me of the 60's. He does seem more authentic than some. The girls seem really weird this year, but I always enjoy that. |
I think Ben is cute, not handsome but kind of interesting looking. The girls are nuts this time around. I agree...think the show is on it's last legs. They haven't even left California, no exotic places this time around? Seems they may be out of money. I have trouble watching this season cause the girls are so crazy it's almost unbelievable. |
I don't think Ben is attractive either. But he does seem like a nice guy. I didn't watch the last season of the Bachelorette (except the last episode, when he proposed and was turned down), so I don't know much about him. I do like how he is with his dog and around kids. I like watching the Bachelor but I just think it's so weird that these girls come in with the end goal of "winning" this guy they don't even know! What if they're not compatible? There was the blonde girl, who I don't even like, but she has a point... that she said she doesn't know him, so how can she know if she likes him? That crazy Jenna girl got so upset over that, but it's true. They all go in there thinking they're in love with him already and there's something totally wrong with them if he rejects them. |

It's almost as if they screen these girls to make sure that 99% of them are off their rocker:laugh: For some reason I can't get into this season and have fallen asleep both times:p Maybe when it gets down to fewer girls, I'll get interested. Meh. |

Ben is a sweetheart. i think he will make some girl a wonderful husband. i think there are some nice girls on the show for him. i can think of all the ones i like but the one that brought her grandma on is nice. so far i like the one that rode in on a horse. i know there are some others i think were nice. i dont like the model, dont like Blakely, i cant remember most of the girls names. i'm glad he didnt give a rose to the freelance writer girl... she seemed like she was drunk or something. |
I have to say, I'm lukewarm about Ben - his HAIR bugs the heck out of me...I just wish he would trim it and get some sort of style to it. That said, I do think he has a sweetheart of a personality, so I will continue to watch. My DH is always asking "if these girls look like this, WHY do they need a show to find a guy??" :p Once we see their personalities and how wacky they are, it explains it all! Very entertaining, non-violent, mindless television...a nice diversion sometimes, to be reminded of just how great my life is! |

The guy she hooked up with on Bachelor Pad did not see her on the Bachelor, so he's going to get a wakeup call soon too! Vienna was on Bachelor Pad, and she is so moody, evil and needy, Michael could easily play the sane one next to her. I’m not sure which is the real her, I think she’s very competitive, but her relationships don’t seem very genuine, she seems to play a character when she’s with a man, perhaps being who she thinks he wants. I think a lot of young women do that, but she's kind of old now and should find out who she really is. |

I find it insane how much these women are in love with a guy they don't know, the other night when the model girl said to ben we'll make pretty babies, was scary. she seems mean too. i never admit to anyone i watch these shows, my dirty little secret lol i liek ben he seems more real then most,but i still think there is something off about him, what we see is not 100% real him...i hope he ends up with that baton girl who he had a date with in his home town, she seems real and nice. I'm sure with how they edit these people none of them are 100% what we see,and are playing a character part and putting on the drama for the cameras |
still watching. and Casey something from leewood is a blonde one that's still on there actually. kinda wanna see more of her, they aren't really showing her much. seems like every year the ones that make the biggest stink go out the fastest so hopefully Courtney goes soon. i HATE her and she's sooo strange and odd and scary. i'm ready to get past the idiots and to the "real" ones. |

I am a fan of Lindzi C. and Kacie B. I think Courtney is psycho and I don't understand what she keeps doing with her top lip. Half the time I don't even know what she is talking about...like how she lashed out at Lindzi for no apparent reason? Chantelle's attempt was ridiculous...she came in overly confident...gets denied and cries her eyes out...whatever. pssh...did you hear the rumors of the next bachelorette? Emily Maynard! Hopefully rumors are true this time!! Or they could always bring back Michelle Money! She would make a great bachelorette! I think Ashley's season was terrible...yawn. The next bachelorette needs to be more exciting! Ohhh and like many of you have mentioned Ben's hair definitely throws me off too...it looks so strange...Does anyone remember him at the final rose ceremony with Ashely? His hair at the roots was like sweat stuck to his head with the rest floppying in the wind...gross! Umm and it was just brought to my attention that his hair has its on twitter account? You have got to be kidding me! |
At the end of last season, my husband and I both agreed taht it would be our last. But it is like a train wreck, we can't look away :eek::eek::eek: |
I finally watched last weeks' show last night. Kacie B is still my favourite! I hope the model goes home, but I remember seeing previews of the season on the first episode and it seems like she is there for awhile. I like how she says everyone else is so juvenile but she acts the most immature! |
The model is interesting, she’s so good with Ben, I almost like her and then there’s the other side of her when she’s with the girls. Her worse side is when she’s talking to the camera, it’s like she’s clueless how she’s coming across. It’s seems obvious, she doesn’t like Ben, but just wants to blow down the competition. I would love her to meet Ben’s sister though, who Ben thought would love her. Men are so naïve sometimes! |
