Temperature of your house I was just wondering what temperature everyone keeps there house at? Most of the time we keep ours at 68 but during the winter at night we keep it at 69. Although my room is colder because I keep my vent closed and have a ceiling fan on. |
..between 68 and 73 depending on our moods (and hormones ;) ). |
That depends on who is in charge of the thermostat at any given moment in our house. DH likes to keep it on 69, I am most comfortable around 72. If we happen to have the wood stove going our house could be as warm as 78. I am misrible when I am cold. |
House temp is always at 72 and I am comfortable walking around in shorts and t-shirts. However my daughters always complain it's too cold and will often kick up the temp to 78!!! |
My husband and I have thermostat wars all the time. I like it at 70 and he is freezing if it isn't 78 in the house. I usually have a fan going and my bedroom window open. |
68 during the day and 63 at night-if it's too warm I can't sleep |
i like it around 68 during the day and turn it a couple notches down at nite. |
ha ha.. I think our battles are a little different. We are set at 77 now...when the girls were visiting for Thanksgiving they were complaining it was too warm and were setting it at 72:eek::eek::eek: I don't want to see my utility bill  Now.. saying all that ... remember it is 83 outside today:rolleyes: |
Daytime 70, and 65 at night |

68.... and sometimes 67. We don't change it at night.... but if the cost of heating gets worse..... we probably will! |
We keep ours set on 72 during the day and 70 at night. We have one of those outside woodburning furnace thingys so it is instant warm heat coming through the vents when it kicks on. I love it, warm heat of a wood fire, without the mess inside the house. DH would keep it set at 75 if he had his way. |

We like it cool at night, so we put it on 70 and don't have a heavy cover. During the day, if we're just hanging out, I like it more around 70-74. If it's around 68 in the house, it is not unusual to see me w/ a scarf around my neck, a coat, and wrist warmers. :p |
Omgosh people...how do you pay your utility bills? lol My house is currently a balmy 62 degrees. At night I turn it down to 56. No wonder ZoE likes wearing sweaters, huh? |
We keep it at 68 day, and 65 night, we are used to that here.. the pack is kept warm with shirts and PJ's... hugs, |
68 degrees day and 60 nights Its a hormonal thing. Need I say more? Hubby says its to cold so he goes to mancave and sits with his blanky on. In summer I keep thermostat at 75 he is sweatin' go figure:rolleyes: |
Right now, our thermostat is set on 72. It's been set there for about a month. :) |

Funny how the body adjusts :D |
65 during day .... when not home .. bump to 68 when home - 62 for nighttime sleeping. Other than a silk wrapping jacket for Razzle no sweaters coats etc indoors. His crate is put on a folded blanket, and another draped over top - usually one of the Blackies sleeps beside his crate - which is on the floor beside my side of the bed. They give off an incredible amount of heat :-) |

We keep our thermostat at 72-73, which makes the bedroooms/bathrooms toasty warm, but the living area is quite cool. I'm sitting here with a blankie wrapped around me. |
You all are going to think I'm nuts but, I've been turning the thermostat down a degree every winter since I moved here. So now, during the day we keep the house at 63 if we're not here 66 if we are and at night 58. Its sounds so cold but really your body adapts so nicely. Other people's house seem so hot now. Aren't I crazy! It used to be 68 and 63, but I love cuddling w/ the pups under a blanket w/ hot chocolate and I'd get too hot. And at night my body temperatures go through the roof and I get so overheated. I guess the flannel sheets and crazy thick duvet probably don't help, but now 58 is perfect. I still overheat the dogs at night. They always retreat to the foot of the bed. |

I probably will turn my heat on a night or 2 this year if it gets cold like it did last year :snow:  |

68 during the day, down to 60-62 at night. I can't sleep with the heat much higher than that - too dry and stuffy. Slippers and robe are next to my bed for the chilly morning when I get up. :D |
