I hope he is better today. Have they had him up yet? I hope you've been able to sleep. |
Early last night was real bad for pain. ( I can only imagine its a mess). Today is better they did get him up around two and he sat up for three hours. Hopefully we will get to go home this weekend for a few days. hoping anyways. We will have to come back in five or so days for the first surgery to start plating and putting screws in. I am a little worried about going home we have to be so very very careful. No weight or pressure on his left leg. Thank goodness we don't have a ton of steps and bought a walker today I told him Merry Christmas he did not find any humor in that. And the dogs will not understand. We will take it slow and easy. It's also a three hour ride home. That will be interesting. But we will get thru it and it all will be fine. I have been staying with him in the hospital so about six hours of sleep since wed. But there will be plenty of time for that later. The dogs are staying with my oldest daughter and doing good. They live a hour and twenty minutes from Rochester. My daughters and there dh are awesome. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. I really appreciate it |
The drive home will probably be painful for him. I'd take some pillows so he could put his leg on them. I'm sure he wants to go home, if only for a few days. Sending you all my best wishes. I'm glad you have someone to leave the little one's with, so you don't have to worry about them. |
