I have never heard of no shave November, but I do have a lot of cowgirl friends who forgo shaving their legs in the winter. Neither the no shave November or winter legs would be for me. I couldn't go 2 days let alone a whole month. :p

we did no shave november as a church group to raise money for missions. i participated in it and didn't shave my legs for the month (sorry still did my pits can't stand not to) and the boys had horrible neck beards. but we did it!!

Haha! I'm asain so every month is no shave month. I was wondering what momember was. I don't think I've shaved my legs since, hmmm I don't know!!

Wow, I have NEVER heard of this.

TMI time: I MUST shave my pits, or they stink. Doesn't matter how clean they are. I would die of asphyxiation after a week or two if I tried this.

No judgments on shaved legs, just me personally, I don't like being bristley. It makes me feel ungroomed. I do think it's kind of crazy how hairlessness is fetishized, like women are no longer supposed to have hair anywhere below the neck, but I must confess, I like guys with minimal body hair.

Most of the hunters I know don't shave during deer season. I don't know if No Shave November has anything to do with it, but it seems like a pretty solid tradition around here. :rolleyes:

This isn't just for fun, although it's quite hilarious when I see my friends with old western style staches and lumberjack beards haha.
It's to promote awareness for prostate cancer in men. At least that's why everyone I know has been doing it for the last like 6 years lol.

BFs son does it... not this year though, hes searching for a new job so he is keeping himself a bit more clean cut these days, thank goodness! Its gross! I couldn't/wouldn't want to do that! I could hide my legs for a month, esp Nov in New England, but the feeling is sooooo gross there is no way! Good Luck to you if you do do it!

Meh, I consider myself a seasonal shaver as far as my legs are concerned. I shave often in summer, and rarely in winter. I shave my underarms all the time, but I don't care if my legs get hairy in the winter.
