and is it just me or does that picture look photoshopped? Her head is too big for the body. Looks weird.

I don't think she did gastric bypass. I know someone that had gastric bypass several years ago and she's still overweight because she never changed her eating habits. Sure, she lost some weight but she looks nothing like Jennifer Hudson. The change in her figure is very clearly from changing her diet. I am extremely proud of her.

I do not think she had it either. Her weight loss has been too gradual. She looks wonderful though!

Clearly by that article she did it by dieting. If I was on a diet and went down to a size 0 I would be cranky too. I get very moody when I am starving.

I don't get celebrity sizing. I mean she is small and she looks absolutely wonderful but she doesn't look like a Size 0 and why would she want to? If she is, it isn't the same Size 0 they sell in Macy's. Kim Kardashian claims to jam all of that a## into a Size TWO jean. REALLY??

I think she looks great also, I can't even lose 10 lbs. Maybe she means a size 10 and forgot to put the 1 in front of the 0. She has a lot of support and her whole family is losing weight now.

She was reportedly a size 4 not too long ago. A lot of stores have different sizing so w/e She's no where near a size 10 though

As far as Kim Kardashian, they say that is going off her waist size, which her waist is tiny.

I had an ex co worker. Girl had a butt like no one's business. LOL She was a little taller than me (I'm only 5'2) and really curvy, but with a tiny waist. She wore 7 jeans in size 26. At the time I was about 100lbs and I wore non stretch jeans (like Diesel or Frankie B) in a 25 (size 2) or I could jam into 24 (size 0) for nights out. My low hip measurement was 33" and hers was 38". (We worked in fashion, so we all knew eachothers measurements by heart LOL) I was surprised when she told me she wore 26 bc she has a butt like Kim Kardashian. It's bc of the spandex. When she finally bought some Diesel jeans, she got a 29. And yes I was always really moody during this time, bc I was always hungry.

Also all labels have their own fit, and a size 2 in one company is not the same as another. There is "vanity sizing" which is what higher priced labels will do, their sizes run big, so the customer wears a smaller size in their brand. Usually budget and junior lines tend to run small.

Sizing has changed in the last 20 yrs or so. In the 80s, there was no such thing as size 0. I remember there was a store at the mall called 5-7-9. They catered to smaller customers and didn't carry anything larger than a 9. The smallest size was a 3. Even prior to that, sizing was based off the Wolf sizing, which are the Wolf brand dress forms designers use to make their patterns off of. The industry standard is an 8 (which is still used in the industry today), however that translates into a store size 4. (Models are usually this size. Though they look like 0's, they usually are not. Their height makes it near impossible.) So you know when people say Marilyn Monroe was a size 12 or 14 or something? They are talking Wolf sizes. So that would be around a modern size 8.

So the only way anyone can really be a size 0 is if either you are less than 5'5 and really thin or a prepubescent girl. LOL

Plus I think Jennifer Hudson doesn't even look like Jennifer Hudson anymore. She looked the best when she first came out for Weight Watchers.

Ahhhh... Spandex!! I would think of someone like Lindsey Lohan as a zero. She must be a HALF (1/2).

I know we are talking about Jennifer Hudson, but does anybody remember how Luther Vandross weight use to change all the time, He could be very heavy and look good and before you know it he was thin and still looked good. I don't see how he could do that. I remember the first time I saw Jennifer Hudson years ago and she was huge, didn't she lose weight before and gain it back? But she still has the most magnificent voice I ever heard.

Yeah, I think she ballooned again during her pregnancy. It's an excuse of course, but I can imagine that you could pack on the pounds when you're pregnant and then just never take them off again.

I think so too, that is my excuse and my son is 17.:D

They've had Size -1 for quite some time now, so who knows?

I'm on WW online, and the last photo of J is not appealing: her face has lost its roundness, and she seems to be a lot wrinklier. The photo before was the best, I think, that would put her at what I would judge to be a size 6.

Yes, that is how bf's cousin and his wife look now. They were always a bit fluffy, but then they lost a bunch of weight and they both look so old now.

I found it very interesting. Never knew that the Wolf dress form had anything to do with it (would love to have one of those, but my sewing skills can't justify the expense for something that would end up being more decoration than anything, lol)

Sizing drives me nuts. Can never rely on the tags. I think shoes have changed too.
