I am in my early 40s....are my feet aging too fast? ;):p Grrr, big Dutch feet keep getting bigger.

My feet have been growing since I turned 25. I was a 6, then a 6.5, now 7. Plus my feet were already wide to begin with!

Kristen, I wish I could afford a Wolf form also. I have a PGM now and it's not near as nice. But it gets the job done.

I won't feel bad about my feet going from an 8 to a 10 in the last decade. Ugh. Hope my hat size hasn't grown too. :p

Don't know if it's true, but I've read that if you don't wear shoes that have support, your feet will spread faster. Barefoot and sandals would make a foot spread faster than wearing tennis shoes all the time.

I believe it is true and the reason my feet have spread in recent years. This week I bought shoes with more support to wear around the house. Helps my legs too.

Hmmm, now that you point that out, that was right around the time that I was always wearing platform flip flop sandals ALL the time. But, at this time we were also going out pretty much every weekend. For nights out I wore closed toe high heels. I also remember that at one point where I was my thinnest, my feet went back down to a 6, then when the weight went back on, I couldn't fit the 6s anymore.

For the last few years I have been in flat slouchy boots. Most didn't have much support as most of them were vintage pairs. Now I got a pair of Puma ones which have more of a sneaker support, but still not arch support. I like my shoes loose. I can't stand tight fitting shoes anymore. Or clothes even now to think of it. LOL

My shoe size changes as I gain/lose weight. It's almost like adding insult to injury. :rolleyes:

Lol, that reminds me, Joey’s breeder told me that if you keep their toenails too long, the nails hold the feet up and the feet start to spread. She said nails should never touch the floor. I'm thinking about another thread where you discussed the state of your toenails, and wondered if that could be responsible for your increased shoes size? I mean just cutting your toenails might take you down a size or two! :D

LOL I was wondering when you were gonna bring that up again! I remember you saying your breeder told you that. Uni's nails are far too long. But I'm afraid to cut them myself now. I've clipped her quick before. I think I will just take her to the vet to have them done.

I was able to cut Joey's for a while, but then he cried once and that ended that. He's getting groomed this weekend, I'll bet I get a lecture. I've been wondering if I should take him to the vet for a quick trim before she see him.

I thought I remembered you saying your breeder told you if you hold the nail the right way it doesn't hurt as much? Maybe if you get a "lecture" she will clip Joey's nails for you. LOL

Yeah, she said it's not cutting the quick that hurts, it’s the wiggling of the nail bed. Yes, she does a whole grooming on him and he's actually excited to go there, it's like he's never forgotten her. I don't mind the lecture, I just don't want her to think I'm a bad mommy.
