in the most recent episode i was disgusted with watching farrah get a puppy from an obvious hole in the wall pet store with wire caged pups. then she tries to make the pup pee on a human potty and then spanks it for having an accident. she wanted a purse puppy and she's always dressing it up. her reasons for getting the pup were to celebrate graduating school.

what a mess and a bad representation of how to get a dog. shame on MTV and shame on Farrah.

This is horrible, although Rachel, there's nothing wrong with wire kennels, Joey loves his! It’s when they are broken with sharp edges, or rusty, that we need to be concerned. Are you going to let MTV know how you feel about this? I’ve never thought MTV was very responsible; I mean, I even wonder if showing the pregnant teens might give other teens ideas on become famous. Her method of housebreaking is outrageous. I feel sorry for the dog and her future child.

I thought MTV stood for "music" tv. Whatever happened to that? Am I that old school???

I'm surprised you're old enough to know that. I use to love MTV, I want to say "Where's MY MTV?!!!" All videos All the time! Hubby is ticked off at the weather channel, he wants to see weather information all the time, but it got so popular, they started showing other stuff.

How old did you think I was? Not long ago a high school kid thought I was 19. That completely made my day! :D

Back on topic... A teen mom with a new pup. I've never seen the show, but I've seen scandalous things said about them on the tabloids and online. It seems so hard to be a mom at an age when they still need mothering themselves. Then add on trying to be famous? I think that will only end in disaster. Now she has a puppy? Anyone else think that's too much for her to handle?

:thumbup: Pnut loves his kennel too! Sometimes I cant get him out of there! I made it like a little man cave too, I throw a blanket over it and I put a big throw blanket in there with pillows on the bottom! He is in heaven when he is in there and I know he feels safe!

I was flipping through the channels last night and I saw exactly that scene. I didn't know it was teen mom, I've never watched the show before. What she was doing with the pup was so ridiculous I was LOLing. I haven't watched mtv in a long time, all the shows now are so stupid. If I wanna each videos ill just go to YouTube.

I've been skeptical of that show ever since last season when MTV crews left the cameras rolling as Amber hit her boyfriend (punched) in the face in the presence of her young child - physically abusing your "spouse" in front of your children in her state is criminal child abuse.

I've also heard there has been a rise in teen pregnancies and applicants for the show. I don't know if that is true or not.

I did not see the show last eve. It sounds like I'm glad I didn't. Is she keeping the pup?

I know it makes me sick!!! I mean my two have cages but they are both swallowed by them ....and Bellas door is always open and Tibbs's will be as soon as his cast comes off!

She is a stupid person who will never keep the puppy. She believes others are out to get her. She wants government benefits and handouts for her child but is able to afford breast implants.

I know she makes me want to vomit!

Again stacking isn't bad either, as long as the kennel has a solid bottom not a wire bottom where pee goes onto puppy below. I don't know the ruling on how many dogs, but 4 does sound excessive.

I became a mother at 15 & a dog or cosmetic surgery were the farthest things from my mind. I truly hate this show, but my dd does watch it so I like to spend the time debunking what it portrays. The worst things that happen to them don't even touch the reality of what really happens, IMO. And that's not just with me but other young parents I know & see.

As for Farrah specifically, I've pretty much hated her since her first season when she left her baby sitting on the kitchen counter & also when she left her baby in a bath in the sink & she turned the water on & burned herself. Oh, yeah, she also left her out in the hall of the complex she lives in & forgot her.:eek: WTH?

They do get paid a lot & it's been said that girls are basically lining up to qualify & get instant stardom. <--dumb alright.:rolleyes: I guess if I had to do the show I'd at least make sure my child was cared for in the future. She thinks her saline friends are going to make her rich & apparently thinks her purse pup will as well.

Back to the pup, the 'shop' looked like the result of a small puppy mill. They had a million breeds & they were crammed in cages. I didn't watch the end & don't know how she tried to train her, but I can only imagine.

She tried to make her use a big toilet ... She is a joke! I know me being a young mom I also think that this show is a joke and it makes teens want to have babies they should come film one day of my life my little boy just turned 3....They would not want babies anymore. lol!

I love the show and I definitely don't think it glamorizes teen pregnancy; it shows everything the girls stuggle with and miss out on.

But that's not the point of the thread. Farrah has ALWAYS gotten on my nerves!!!!!! She is such a drama queen brat! And yes, she complains about being poor but goes out and gets a boob job & a puppy?! She's completely clueless when it comes to raising a dog so I hope she was kidding about trying to make it go on the toilet! Probably not though. I'm not sure what kind of place she got it from (it didn't look that bad to me) but she doesn't know that pet stores are bad anyway.

I agree with you!! I love the show! I also can't stand how she treats her MoM!!

No Im not joking she really did she held it above the toilet and told it to go pee than spanked it when it peed in the floor.
