surprise, arizona has had an average of 115 plus for five weeks. Low hundreds for a short time after mid-night until about 4 am. Hotest time of the day here is between three and seven o'clock. No rain here and very little (like very-very little humidity-----dry heat) 115+ humidity or not is damn hot.

Oh, and I thought we had it bad here in Dallas/Ft. Worth area with the plus - 100 temps. They haven't been talking that much about AZ. so I thought you all were maybe doing okay. I'll bet you are really ready for some cool autumn breezes!

Yea, they were talking on the local news about our Summer 2011 t-shirts not going to be as bombastic as they could have been had we set the record! I for one will take a less dramatic phrase on my t-shirt - how 'bout you? Still, looks like next week we are back in the 100 plus range. Oh, hurry, September!

Yep I got my T-Shirt from 1980, funny thing is, it doesn't fit me any more, it's way too small. LOL

I remembered I hadn't checked my mail for today and went to the mail box and the darn Electric bill was there. I took a deep breath when I opened it, I had budgeted for at least a $500.00 bill, I was surprized it was only $320.00, so I really feel relieved. LOL

$320.00 isn't so bad for the month we've had in North Texas. I dread mine arriving. It is going to take all that I have to open that envelope. It's actually pretty comfortable tonight and the A-C hasn't come on very often at all - that is so nice for a change.

I think it is in the 90's here in Georgia, my son plays football and they have their first High School game tonight.

Oh, I remember those days when my son played football here in Texas and always started in the heat of summer with the practices and then games! They should postpone games for nonadults to those with temps below 90 at gametime or something that is reasonable. Why should we continue to put our young people at any risk for a game?

WE GOT RAIN !!!! It was raining when we got up at 6:30 this morning. YEAH !!!!!

2 of my 3 are potty pad trained, but my Allie who we adopted in March will only go outside. It took over an hour for her to finally go out Pee Pee and Poop. Thank heavns she didn't see that darn squirrel. LOL

This rain won't last long and we will be right back in the 100"s again.

We have rain too. Let Tibbe out and there it was - water falling from the sky! I was amazed - it's been weeks! Tibbe even seemed taken aback. It is only about 77 degrees now and cloudy and wonderful. Nice break and my grass and trees are loving all this water.
