16 year girl marries 51 year old man ewww |
I'm usually a "age doesn't always matter, don't be judgmental" kind of girl. But come on. 16 and 51?! I'm sorry, I think that's wrong. What is a 51 year old man wanting to be with a 16yr old girl for, really? |
I agree with Brit. There is 9 years difference between hubby and me but I was 25/26 when I met him. At 16, you haven't even begun to figure out what you want in life, much less in a marriage to someone who has already been thru so much. |
eewww she's gross...the way she talks and laughs...sounds so fake to me...Did you guys see her video?? OMG that's not music!! The guy looks surprisingly young!! I didn't think he was 51! The age difference is crazy though!! |
I also usually don't care about age, but what 16-year-old girl is ready to be married? Shouldn't she be getting her first car? Shopping for prom dresses? All that fun stuff! :cheer: I had a blast at that age - marriage was the furtherest thing from my mind! |

Gross almost spit out my morning coffee. The sickest person in all of this is the mother, who allowed it! |

“We all needed a good man in our lives,” said Krista, adding the 35-year age gap does not faze her. “After a while you don’t look at the age. You look at the love they started to have towards each other. He became more than a number to us.” Courtney, an aspiring actress, model and pop singer, met her husband when he began managing her career. Her parents welcomed Hutchinson, who is four years older than his new father-in-law, into their lives when he started dating their daughter. “He was her manager, and then as we got to know him, we got to see what kind of person he was,” Krista said. “He just became a wonderful person in our eyes, and he’s a great Christian man.” Read more: EXCLUSIVE: 16-Year-Old Singer's Mom Approved of Her Marriage to Old Hubby - FoxNews.com |

I wonder if this is a publicity stunt to promote her music quickly. People who had never heard of her (me) before will hear about it now, and listen to her music or watch her video. Give it time, and the marriage will result in a divorce, but the two will "remain business partners." Money or fame are the only reasons I could imagine her parents consenting to this kind of marriage. |

Rupert Murdock's wife is about 35 yrs younger then her husband..they have children and no one cares...I, personally, do not care who married who... |
Yeah... uumm... like thats going to last! When I was 30 I dated a guy who was 45. After about a year I was like 'uuumm boring and old' He fell asleep at 930 while I was rearing to go! He was a nice guy, but the age difference, made a difference b/t us that could not be bridged. Wait until she's old enough to really LIVE... I don't see this one lasting. Honestly.... what is wrong with the parents for allowing their daughter to marry at age 16 to a guy who is 51. My parents would not even let me go on dates until I was 17. I truly feel that her parents set her up to fail on this one. Sad. Shouldn't they be protecting their baby? Not giving her away (as a child still) to a man older than they are? uugghhhh |

I think this is a publicity stunt. |
I agree a 16 yr old should still be a child...but I think she was "grown" by 12 yrs..look at her....mother no doubt allowed her to grow up to fast..LOL |

Did you guys notice the comments in her youtube vid? "Everyone owes Rebecca Black an apology" :sidesplt: I couldn't get past 2 secs, I'm totally serious. btw, all Orange county 16 yr olds look like that. Heck even 12 year olds look like that here. Any given weekend, go to Lake Havasu and they're a dime a dozen. |

I've seen a few videos with this other couple and all I can say is ewwww. She acts so bizarrely in some of them, licking her lips at the camera and trying to give it these "come hither" looks. It's just odd. |
She is still very much a child and this is a disgrace. At her age, she hasn't developed the portion of her brain that can make informed judgments and teens are impulse-driven. Should have been allowed to grow up normally. This will affect the rest of this child's life, mark my words. |

umm she's just disgusting...look at the way she acts, laughs, and talks...I think she's in it for money and fame. She doesn't look like a "deeply Christian girl"... |

This is the first time I've seen anything "official" about this. Where do I begin? Firstly, I don't think age is always a factor, whether something works out for the best or the worst. This is based on my own experiences (as an adult). I have a 14y.o. & cannot imagine her dressing like that for one in just 2 years. Not ever, personally & I hope she has enough sense & self respect not to. And does she just have a problem walking in heels or is this girl high on something? They say your brain isn't fully matured until you're about 25--11 years prior to that you have to wonder what's going on in her head. And if I ever saw my dd making nasty, trampy looks on T.V. at any age I'd blow a gasket to say the least! I could go on & on, it's just sick & disturbing, I could never imagine telling my child that it is ok. IMO:thumbdown |
