| Stalking Have any of you ever been stalked or harrassed over state lines? If so, what kind of legal actions did/could you take? Apparantly anti-stalking laws are no good across state lines.

| What a mess!!! First of all make a report with the local police department so that it's on record. And take it from there with your attorney. I hope the phyco backs off! Please be careful!

| Elizabeth, I have no experience with this but perhaps you could file a local police report then contact the police in the town that the stalker lives just to give them a heads up. I would record everything, phone conversations, any threats, letter, emails, everything! |

| Can't your husband get her to "shut up" Please be careful, you need to do everything that the attorney tells you that will help keep you safe....and most of all don't let your anger land you in jail. Now wouldn't she love that.

| When things cross state lines, does it meant Federal jurisdiction (sp)? That's what they always say on TV. I'm going to PM you with some advice that I got concerning a coworker...

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Oh, Elizabeth. I hope you get the help you need and FAST! Not to alarm you, but you may want to carry a firearm on your person. Check into getting a concealed handgun license. What is she doing???

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Definately get an attorney or some law enforcement agent that can guide you. You need to be so careful when dealing with these kind of people. I know you said she lived far away do you think she would go as far as to come to Illinois or is she trying to scare you and break up your marriage. Does your husband know any of her family to cantact them to alert them to what she is doing. |
