Well I don't know whether to call myself a bionic angel or just a plain ole fallen angel 'cause my halo is below my knees. I'm out of surgery and resting fairly comfotably - they have some pretty good pain cocktails here. I'll answer pm's a bit later, I'm having trouble seeing and thinking, but I'm feeling very little pain :eyetearss

I should be home Monday or Tuesday and will start sewing just as soon as settle in.

For those curious brave souls, here is a pic of my leg...

Hey, don't we all have days when our halo has fallen to between our knees!:eek: Don't worry, we know where it belongs! When this is all over, you will be so glad you bore all of this pain. Thank goodness for the drugs...not feeling any pain is a GOOD thing. ;) We gotta get you back to 100%....harnesses are needed :D Just teasing, you do deserve some much need recoup time!!!!

Thinking of you Cindy!! Glad to hear that you are in no pain...;) Hopefully that will be the way you can stay now!! Good luck with your recovery...you have been through so much with that leg for so long...it is high time for it to end....Happily of course!! :D Thoughts and prayers are with you!!

Wow I don't know of there are enough drugs for me to go through that. LOL It looks so painful and uncomfortable. I hope your recovery is speedy.

Cindy, Happy to see you posting. I'm glad they're giving you good pain cocktails. I'm sure you need them from the picture. I hope they send some home with you, too. Take care and know we are thinking about you and feeling sorry for you having to go through that again.

Praying for you to have a complete recovery. I had a friend that had a similar contraption like that on her leg after a head on collision 20 years ago. This surgery prevented her from losing her leg and she is walking great now. Good Luck to you and give your self time to recover.
