I know the feeling, life has always been harder for me than my siblings. I just know thw right job is out there so try and hang in there. We are all here for you on those down days. |
Thanks everyone, lately Ive been feeling down and out big time. But I know, life goes on and once Im past this challenge I'll be here to deal with the next one. I think Yorkietalkjilly (sorry if I have that wrong) said to look outward and I think she is right. I think I have a hard time dealing with the fact that my life did not turn out the way I planned it, I'm such a planner, but I just need to reorg my life and accept it all, find joy in other ways and make it all work! :) |
Try and stay positive :) the same thing happen to my daughter, she was hired but didnt start the job for almost a month, she was getting worried and very disapointed, in the end it all worked out and she got that dream job :) sending you positive vibes for fresh beginings  wishing you the very best ! |
Thanks sooo much! I am hoping HOPING that this is just a minor setback and that in a month I'll be in a much better job, closer to home and feeling more appreciated at work. That would help to make me happier. :) |
So my latest update is: The HR woman asked me to call her on thursday and she hoped to have better news for me, like they lifted the hold off my position. I called her, left a voicemail and did not get a return call. So this morning I called again, got her voicemail, did not leave a voicemail, but did send an email to follow up. I got an out of office email saying she was out of the office until Tuesday! Now Im just getting mad. This is beyond rude. They tell me they are going to hire me, then I hear nothing for 2 weeks, then they tell me they did a reorg and now it's back to hearing nothing. This company needs to get their act together. They did the same type of thing to my boyfriend years ago and he ended up accepting another job. |
