Your Mom's service sounded very beautiful. I know after losing my Mom 4 years ago I became the main caregiver for my Dad. After he passed last year I didn't know what to do with my self. I decided to commit to helping my local shelter on a regular basis which helped me. Give your self some time to regroup and grieve and then decide what your next steps will be. My heart goes out to you. |
Tena I am so sorry you lost your mom, sending hugs. |
Forgive me for calling you by the wrong name Lila!!!! |
Sending prayers your way. Take some time to heal and stay strong. |
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you can soon remember the good times and smile instead of crying. Right now it is going to be tough but every day will get easier. I lost my mom last year after a long illness so I know what you are feeling. It will get easier and you will find many things to do with yourself. Don't make any permanent changes just yet but do go out and enjoy your new freedom. And above all don't feel guilty for feelings of relief. The pain an suffering your mother went through is over and she is at peace. So should you be. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs Lou |
I am glad that the funeral was beautiful and a wonderful tribute to your Mom. Maybe take a day or two for some "home" time. Watch some movies, take some nice long bubble baths, give Betty Boop a spa treatment (and if you are up to going and getting one yourself, do it). Maybe have a friend stop by for a little lunch or tea. Sometimes it is nice to have a close friend just to hang out with during these times. Again, so sorry about your loss. |
