YT had a security breach with private messages [April Fools 2011]
 
We will be notifying all members of this via email as well. Private Messages were breached and copied. At this point, we are unsure if it was ALL PMs, or a portion of them. YT is looking into all of the details, and we'll keep you posted as we learn more.

Update: we just learned the cause of all of this:

Still, I always figure ANYTHING I type and put online is available to someone somewhere! Better not to put anything in writing that you'd panic if others read. Never know! Course I think this is more of a concern with celebs than a retired grandma in Florida who talks a lot about crochet and her dogs! :D

The other was an acquaintance on FB changing their b-day to today and waiting for all the happy birthday messages... I posted on their wall :rolleyes: I just hope they don't hold it against the people who obviously didn't know their birthday :p
