| Well, I fell down the stairs! I was trying to carry a load of laundry down AND baby bottles. Looking back that was not the best idea. Luckily I couldn't fit anything else in my hands or most likely I would have had one of my kiddos or Bella. I am usually carrying one or the other. I'm pretty banged up. Pulled a muscle in my right thigh, bruised both knees and feet, and not sure what I did to my big toe on my left foot but it's hurting pretty bad! I layed at the bottom of the stairs for ten minutes trying to figure out how that had just happened and if I needed a body cast! I will be okay though, close call! lol

| Well I have my 3yr old and 1 yr old with me during the day. My 3 yr old never moved away from the t.v. (Mickey Mouse was on ) I made it to my phone eventually and called my husband. He asked if he should come home. I told him I would be fine, just banged up, but not serious. My mom lives with us and she has Osteoparosis and I'm constantly telling her to be careful going down the stairs. It just so happens I needed my own advice!

| Thank you all. I will be fine. It was just scary! I think knowing the realization of if it were serious, who would help me?! That's what's scary!

| Oh, you are fortunate not to have broken something. I know from experience you are going to be sore tomorrow! Poor thing! Do you have some Icy Hot or something to help with the soreness and pain? I am really glad you are basically okay, though. |

| Ouch! I hope you are okay. Thank goodness you didn't have one of your babies. Having tumbled a couple times myself, I know how scary it can be. Slow down and don't overdo it.

| Thank you all again so much! I think I did manage to break my big toe unfortunately.. It is purple-ish and everytime I try to move it or touch it I can barely stand it! I know there is nothing I can do for a broke toe, just gonna have to suffer through it I guess....

| Whew!! I am glad you are OK, besides the broke toe, it just could have been worse. I know about Mickey Mouse too, he sure has a way with the distraction thing..lol. You relax and take it easy. Tell Mom she better be double careful...and you too!!! |

| Yorkietalkjilly, That is exactly how I would describe it! Like something sharp is sticking it! Oh when I accidentally touched it earlier I almsot cried! I've given birth 5 times, this shouldn't bother me this bad! lol

| Is it in the large joint of the toe - the metatarsal joint - where the toe attaches to the foot - or the interphalangeal joint - the joint in the middle of the toe? It is the big metatarsal joint that they will worry about more as it can affect walking, future bunions, etc. |

| Oh my, I'm so sorry this happened, please see a doctor, just to be safe. As moms we always try to do too much at one time. I have 5 too and I know how easy it is to try to carry too much. They produce a lot of laundry and everything else as well, but the work will only get harder if something worse happens to you. Please take care of yourself, they need you in one piece. Hope the rest of your day goes better. |

| Please, get yourself taken care of by seeing a Dr. You have loved ones to take care of and that depend on you, so you should be taken extra good care of yourself. Get a big mesh clothes bag with draw string. Toss it down the stairs first then just drag it to the washer. Safer.
