My son shaved his off.....said he had dry skin under them...grrrr It took less than 2 months for them to start to cover. There was an awkward time that he had as they started to grow in...with no make up. |

Girl...you tell her "do not ever do this again" you go and get a good eyebrow pencil and you draw those suckers on...and once they grow back...you introduce her to waxing them and leave them up to the experts!!! |
Take your daughter to see a makeup artist. Professional makeup artists are relatively easy to find here in LA. You can also try the MAC Cosmetic stores. Take your daughter here, and they will be able to help her w/ letting her know which products to use, and how to maintain until her eyebrows grow back. Pencil thin eyebrows are ugly. UGLY! A lot of women tend to overpluck. You want a natural flow to the eyebrow, but at the same time, you want clean neat lines. Not too thin, and not too wide either. That is why I'm telling you to go see a makeup artist. They can help create a more natural looking eyebrow, rather than just using an eyebrow pencil... After this situation, you may want to have her attend a beauty/cosmetics class (not sure if MAC has classes like this, but it doesn't hurt to ask). They will help instill the foundations of how to properly apply makeup, what to use, what not to use, etc. And more importantly, it will be individualized due to every person's individual skin tones, etc. The two of you will laugh about this in later years. |
Thanks every one for all your help. Well we made it to school OK. I told her to leave her face alone!!!! She's just now learning about makeup, and let me tell you, I think I have aged 10 years this weekend.LOL My friend Sandi from Mary Kay was a big help!!! I am going to look into classes for her. Boys are so easy!!!!! I have three, 20, 19 & 16 never a problem! Thanks again for all your help. :yorkietal |
