Marge was planning on flying to Dallas tomorrow thru Thursday. Just heard that DFW was shut down for a while, and you know O'Hare will be at a standstill from this afternoon into tomorrow night. Doubt if things do not get back to order until the weekend if we get as much as they say. |

Yep, until we have to go to school until July to make all these days up! |
Ok, I'm saying that this will be the last storm of this Winter . . . It's gotta start warming up soon . .we had no January thaw this year . . .and I have about a 6 foot mountain of snow in my backyard from all the storms and what came off the roof . . . Can't wait to see how long that takes to melt . . .:p |
I think we are going to have 5 feet of snow on the ground in general areas and 10 feet where people plow it and snow blow it! There is an 80 foot high pile down the street from my work where the town has been trucking snow to move it out. 80 feet high!!!! Thats a lot of snow!!! The nation is taking a hit this year for sure! |
I also live in Connecticut and I'm so sick of this snow. The snow banks are so high and there is no room for any more of this white stuff. Yesterday my son jut left the house and was driving down our road (winding country road) when a car comes out of a side street. The 7 foot snow bank blocked her vision and she didn't see my son's car and just pulled out. Luckily no one was hurt but his Passant didn't fare too well. I'm pretty sure it's totaled along with the car he hit. Thank God for airbags! |
And now we have snow! I don't know how all of you handle having so much. We get one inch in Arkansas and EVERYTHING shuts down! :D If we were to get over 6 inches we wouldn't know what to do!!! |

We are getting between 6 and 21 inches tonight (apparently they are a little fuzzy on the exact amount and the meteorologists can't come to a general consensus.). I do not it cold and I do not like it wet. And some colleges here do not care about safety. If they can clean the parking lots, then class is on. :( |

Ha ha! True! Arkansas weather is so unpredictable. Rosie and mom get awful scared of the tornadoes here! You all have hurricanes, right? Do you get the snow and tornadoes? |
14" expected here. no work and the state is in a state of emergency i got a WORK SNOW DAY how about that??? it's bad, blizzard conditions and really cold and snowy. |
Just got word that Fedex is shutting down their Indianapolis Hub tonight, no flights are going out. Dallas/FTW got no deliveries today. Tomorrow will be the same. I have never seen it like this before. |
Yeah, this is a pretty awful Winter . . .even the Blizzard of 78 cannot compare to these storms that are coming week after week . . .Fortunately we are going to get a lull soon . . .I will go out and snow blow . . .I took today off and DH went to work. I'm pretty concerned about the round 2 they are talking about with the ice . . .this Summer BETTER be awesome to make up for all of this . . .DH has 5 1/2 more years until he can retire . . .Florida is looking pretty awesome right about now . . .ask me again in about 5 years though . . . :p |
