I sure hope it's Chantal. I love Emily, but she's way to good for him. I'm with Nancy, I liked the cut out scenes. I guess the Bachelor is human! |

wow can't believe he really did pic Emily. WOW!! i was sooo shocked. EVERYTHING i read said Chantal. wow just wow....i hope they make it, but i can see where they mite not. i thought for sure she blew it. holy moly. |
Yeah; that was a good one. I felt sorry for Chantal and hope she is the next bachelorette. She is beautiful! Hmm. I think he might be a tad more in love with Emily than she is with him. |
I think Brad is way more in love with Emily than she is with him. She seems to be going through the motions because that's what she wants for herself. I don't feel she's ready to completely move on from Rikki. I really hope Ashley is the next bachelorette!!! |
I think Emily is just being smart about it. They do need to know each other in the real world, because the show was not the real world. She has her daughter to think about too, and isn't ready to rush into a marriage, and I think that's great. Their whole relationship developed slowly and I really think it's good that she wants to wait and know for sure, and work on their relationship, before getting married. I was surprised he picked Emily too because I had heard it was Chantal! I spent the whole show feeling sorry for Emily and thinking she was going to get her heart broken! |

On Brad and Emily's last date, and she asked him, "Do you really know what being a father means?" I think it was a very fair question, and in NO WAY should that question "blow it." She needed to be reassured he could handle it. Instead of using his strength and being calm for her, he got all flustered and said, he was not yet mad, but "almost". Why? She needed to know he had realistic ideas of what being a father meant, and it's not just fun days in the park. His words were good, but all his body language and emotions showed him as a very scared boy, not a strong protective father figure. Emily would have to be the strong one in this relationship, and I'm not sure Brad has it in him to be strong enough. It also bothered me when she said he has quite a volatile temper, and while I think she's wise to know it takes a while to understand that you have to learn how to communicate and work with someone's fighting style, you really wouldn't want your little girl to be around Brad when he was having a temper tantrum. When Brad had disagreements with girls on the show, he was never able to work through any problems, and he's very uncomfortable when the girls were having a problem. He doesn't know how to just comfort someone. Sometimes woman just need to be reassured calmly, and he needs to learn how to do that. He definitely thinks he loves Emily, but I hope he stays in therapy; he really needs to learn how to communicate disagreement better. I think Emily is such a doll, but she deserves a heck of a man, but her first commitment should be protecting her daughter. She has stability in her life and in her town, and I'm not sure if Brad offers her enough to give up that stability. Brad chose Emily out of 40 or so woman (2 shows) but would Emily choose Brad over 20 eligible men? I don't think so. |
