The Bachelor - Brad part 2
 
So Brad's on again, I missed the first two episodes, recorder isn't working properly, what does everyone think of this season and specifically of having him back on? Never understood why a cute guy who owned bars would need The Bachelor to find a woman, do you think he deserves a second chance? Anyone watching this season, is it worth me getting emotionally involved in him again? :D Sometimes I think he's doing it to prove to America something, what's your opinion?

I think he is as messed up(if not more...) this round as the first!

In these first shows he is falling "in love" and making out with more than one "lady".......but I reserve my judgement :sidesplt:

ETA...

I DO NOT think he deserves a second chance and I think he's a bit of a d*ck to be honest.....harsh, but he handled the situation very poorly during his "season"

I was trying to remember that site, I found them on abc, but they are split in half, but at least I can watch them. So far he seems very nervous, I feel sorry for him. Something about him doesn't seem real to me, like he's genuine. I think he needs more therapy, but then the women all seem nuts so far too. Do you think his laugh is real?

I think he should have a second chance. At least he didn't choose someone just for the sake of the show and then 6 mos later say "Oh, sorry I changed my mind...I'm just not that into you"
I also think he should choose Emily M., but I know he doesn't(I checked the "spoilers"...lol) She'll most likely be the next Bachelorette

I do think Brad could quit making out with every girl every time he turns around though.

Nancy....to me??? He seems to not be comfortable in the company of WOMEN - AT ALL :eek: (not that there is anything wrong with that :rainbow: :D)

It's not that I don't like him, I mean he seems really nice, he says he's there for the right reasons, his family all loves him, he's very handsome, but he doesn't seem real, maybe he's just so nervous. I also think he tries to think everything through to much, and sometimes you need to just enjoy the moment. I'm already involved, (I fall fast) and I'm rooting he'll find the girl of his dreams. I think you're right, if he wasn't feeling it he shouldn't have chosen anyone. I think I was more bothered by the fact that on their overnights he seemed so enthralled. Still don't know who Emily M. is, what do you mean spoilers do they already know the final result?

Yea, I can see how he might not seem real. I think he's too worried about making a mistake this time because now everyone is expecting him to choose someone.

You can google Bachelor Spoilers and somehow they know things. I try not to look because I want to see it first hand.

I have to say, I didn't watch Brad the first time around, but you know even if you didn't watch you know how it ended. I think Brad is one of the few "real" people on that show in all the seasons that it has aired. Of all the couples that have ended together, only 1 reached the alter. Another couple was married, but they were not the ones standing together at the final rose. Regardless, I think those that have stuck it out through it all, those that have reached the alter and started families are the real people. How else would something as preposterous as this show work otherwise?
All the reality shows are full of fakes, and so is this show. It's refreshing to see someone who didn't want to just play along for the sake of ratings and did something he felt was right. Brad couldn't commit at the time of the final rose, then he shouldn't have had to do it. If he wants to try the show again, then god help him. There are going to be a lot of fakes that are on that show just for the attention. It's a train wreck but boy do I love to watch!

OK... so now I'm ranting. Just got through the first 8 mins of the first episode. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? One girl slaps him for all the women in America? I'm sorry girl, you didn't do it for me. Am I the only person who thinks that was a bunch of BS?

I am watching this time around, but I didn't last time. I like how he's getting rid of all the catty/drama girls. But I'm getting a little sick of him talking over and over and over about how he was how he was last time because he was emotionally scarred from his dad not being around when he grew up and that's why he couldn't fall in love and pick someone and he's gone through a lot of counselling so he's better and can get engaged.

I am surprised that Madison is still there! She thinks she's a flipping VAMPIRE!

I'm not good with names yet but I really like the girl he went on his date to the amusement park with, and the other blonde who has a kid she hasn't told him about yet. She's so pretty and seems so sweet!

I'm not reading spoilers this time! I read the spoilers on Jake's season (the first one I actually watched) and it was like a trainwreck watching him end up with Vienna :rolleyes: I knew it would happen but I just couldn't look away! This time I want to be surprised!

Great perspective, and I agree with you totally. I guess I see the ending as, "I found one women who've I really would like to date and get to know better," rather than I want to get engaged. You cannot get to know someone on a show like this, and feelings are not real even though the participants think they are. The girls are always so in love right a way, and part of that is competitiveness, if they get a rose; they feel they are desirable. I think they are fun to watch because I do think you get to some insight into human nature, and that's the part that fascinates me, lol, same reason I love YT, I love understanding human behavior.

I dont know because I dont watch the show because its a bunch of women making fools out of themselves for the love of one man and a network profiting from it. I used to watch alot of reality tv but after awhile they were allo the same.

Ha, ha, I read the spoilers last time, it was just so intense, I still haven't got use to the fact that he picked Vienna, what a couple they were. I read that the vampire girl is an actress and she's just using the show to make a name for herself, but I don't know if that's true. By the way, at the end of the first show they announced, "This will be the most CONTROVERSIAL season ever!"

I think another reason they "fall in love" on these shows is because they are put in those situations! All they do is wait around for this man to notice them, and when he does they are swept away on the most romantic dates, the best food and drinks, the locations, the places they'd never have been able to go without the show... It's a total fantasy! And then they wonder why it doesn't always work out after the show, when you go back to normal life, back to your job, and him back to his job... You don't look glamorous, you see the flaws, and in most cases I think, you see that both are different people when you're not on tv!

Exactly! Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to have such outlandish, exotic, and extremely romantic dates in real life? How I wish I could! Everyone loves watching a train wreck. At least I do. :D

I am getting tired of all this "change" talk. On one hand I feel so sorry for this man. The bachelorrettes (sp?) he didn't pick did a number on him. Did they ever stop to think he did them a favor? If he really couldn't commit, would they have found the men they are engaged to now? Aren't they happy and content with their own lives now to hold a grudge? Seriously! Deanna especially. She, in my opinion, the way she was portrayed in the first episode made me think she needs to grow up. If she is so happy now, why does she care whether or not Brad is ready for love now? I honestly think all the negativity from those two, plus all the negativity on blogs and things drove this man to see a counselor.
But, he is also getting on my nerves. He is trying to sell his change way to hard. He just keeps pushing it and it makes for good comedy on Jimmy Kimmel Live (they have a change count :p) I need to finish watching the first episode.

You mean you guys have never gone a date where the guy rented the whole amusement park for you? Of course when I saw the amusement park all I could think about was corn dogs fried bread, and all the other goodies. :p I would be complaining about "Why aren't the concession stands open?"

Nancy I never saw the show before, but the other day I was going through the channel's and OMG what eye candy this Brad is:D I had to watch for a while just to see what would happen next. But the girl with the fangs :rolleyes: Don't think I'll watch again, but you never know;)
