| Hubby not allowed to go shopping alone Hubby went to the Dollar Tree Saturday morning by himself. If you are not familiar with this store, everything in it costs $1.00. He went to buy gifts for his coworkers (12 of them i think). Guess how much he spent! $71.00. He said he bought me several small gifts, wrapping supplies, etc. I told him I did not know they had that much in the store. I told him he no longer allowed to shop on his own at Christmas any more. He said he just could not stop himself. Anyone else having this problem?

| Not at the dollar store. You have to be careful there. Never buy things that you'll eat and drink off of or from. Only buy things that you recognize the brand name. Wrapping paper and thngs like that have GREAT deals and are safe. I bought a pkg of 4 shiney, silver bows for $1. Each bow in it self would have been $3 at Target. Never buy dog toys or treats there either.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I'm the one who is not allowed to go there alone. I went the other night to the 99cent store for stocking stuffers -- scotch tape, pens, etc., and walked out $125 poorer. But the stockings will be STUFFED. If you do buy name-brand food, check the dates carefully. Last Christmas I bought candy for stocking stuffers and it was so old it was rock-hard. |

| I buy drink and dry food items there, like ramen noodles and potato chips. i also have bought some dog toys from there, but rarely bc they usually are ugly. of course I would never buy the dog food there. The tissue paper and gift bags are an awesome deal. The tissue pack I get is marked "random colors" and you get 40 sheets. If you are picky you end up with only 8 sheets. i also buy insoles for my shoes, but they suck and my feet are hurting. I always crack up bc at the 99 cent store, at checkout they have a pregnancy test for 99 cents and it says 99% accurate.

| I go to the Dollar Tree all the time and I love it but I wonder if I am really saving money cause I always spend so much. I got the babies rain coats from there, they only cost a dollar and they work great. My Babies are soiled RIP Sophie Lynn Mommy loves and misses you |

| I like to go there and ask, "How much is this?" "a dollar?, okay, how much is this?" "How about this?" "And this one?" Okay, I only did that once, but I was bored waiting for my son (then six) to pick out some toy! Kendra |

| There is no such thing as the dollar store...I call it the $20 store. lol My hubby does this at the grocery store. I'll ask him to go and pick up a loaf of bread for garlic toast and $50.00 later :eek he comes home. He buys all the junk stuff and thinks he's done something good because he has bought me a piece of cake too! lol
