Well I used to paint as a hobby before I started sewing all the time :rolleyes: . I was going through my cd's to find some baby pics of tinkerbell and I found some pics of some of my paintings and thougth I'd share them with ya'll. I obviously like several different styles :D . Several of these are in my house. Some I have sold. Now all my art supplies are boxed up because my art room became strictly a sewing room so I havent painted in over a year :( but I hope to try to paint again. I need a bigger house ;)

Very talented indeed! My mother is a muralist. She's painted alot of my rooms.

cook, clean(ok I guess I can do this but dont like too :D ), sing, garden without killing plants...... :D and this list goes on :D

I know, I am very excited and cant wait to get it. I like to do more abstract paintings and dont have the patience or talent to do the awesome work that sylvan does. And I actually draw better than I paint so I am very excited to get an awesome professional portrait of my dogs painted :) . I saw the work in progress on the portrait and I was so impressed. I wish I could paint like that!

I was an art major and my style is more like yours, too. People would want me to do a portrait or a landscape (as if I could have!) and I would always tell them to take a picture. Now if they wanted my interpretation of a portrait or a landscape, I'm your girl!! ;)

It was really cool! I looked over and saw this easle and it was 'Hey! I know them!"

YT makes for a really small world, doesn't it!

Shana, Georgia O'Keefe is my favorite artist so you know, I would love the
flower in the second group since there is somewhat of a feel of her there but I like the pear equally as well. You are very talented.

SHe is one of my favs too. I actually have more paintings like hers that I do but I didnt have photos. I love painting flowers so close-up they look abstract. I also LOVE van gogh. I have several van gogh and o'keefe prints in my house ;)

There pear is in my kitchen. Didnt really know what else to put in there. Most of the other stuff (especially if you see a bright goldenrod colored wall behind it) is in my sewing room, aka former art room. :p

I'm glad you have the pear out where everyone can see it. I love van gogh
too but the two are so different. Georgia O'Keefe painted "White Trumpet
Flower" the year I was born. It is one of my favorites and I have always
considered it a birthday gift :) The poppy she does is wonderful and
From the Lake is breath taking. There is a little painting that you would
never dream she would have done with her Sante Fe up bringing and if
you haven't seen it you must, it's called "New York Night" When I go home
to Chicago ( I still call it home and I haven't lived there in 50 yrs) I always
make a bee line to their wonderful art museum. You are doing such lovely
work, it must be so satisfying.
