Speed: Twice-baked potatoes, eh? That sounds pretty dang manly to me! Good tip there with filet mignon juices over the potatoes, then you eat the potatoes after the steak. Mmmmmmm.... I'm hungry, and I just ate! This thread definitely ain't a diet thread!

Diet shmiet. When men BBQ, WE EAT! It's the one time gluttony is definitely acceptable. :) Now if you need to run around the block a few times to feel better about yourself, then that is acceptable too :D
And yes, when I eat the potatoes, it's almost like the second course of filet mignon! I'm going to have to do that again this weekend for sure. :dribble:

I was supposed to do it this time but I had a guest over and we had a lot going on. I'll be sure to take some pics this time around!

So my ribs were a smash at the big bash yesterday. The first guest arrived at 2 p.m., and the last left at 2 a.m. I grilled 40 burgers, 40 dogs and BBQ'd four slabs of pork ribs throughout the day.

Having two grills going at the same time was the way to go. Thanks again for the tips.

Thanks for the laugh guys.. and as a girl that is a die hard Packers fan (yes i cried over Favre and I am still holding out hope!), Playstation 3 and XBOX 360 addict, and the fact that I'm "half-gay" I get to comment on this thread! My fav manly food.. anything on the grill! ha ha

Awesome. Congrats on the shindig. My attempt to cook filet mignon this weekend was thwarted by horrible weather (it's been raining here for days). However, my craving is too much. Rain or shine, I am going to try to cook something on the 4th. Now if I can convince my wife we don't need to go anywhere this weekend I should be set!

And speaking of Xbox 360, Sunday I got my SECOND red ring of death. Plus, I just got Xbox Live for the year. I am hoping for 2 things: I had read on a forum somewhere that some people were getting a new 360 instead of a repaired one, so I hope I get the same thing because I have no doubt it will break again; And I better get a free month of Live!, but I probably will as I got a free month card last time I sent my 360 in.

half gay.... meaning I am bi-sexual. ha ha I refer to myself as half gay....

I've not heard of anyone getting new 360's just the repaired ones. I've been lucky with mine so far "knocks on wood". I prolly just jinxed myself. ha I tend to play the ps3 more then the xbox. At the moment I'm stuck on the new Indiana Jones Legos game.. ha ha I LOVE THOSE!

I figured that's what you meant after...it was a rough day at work and I was so used to typos that I figured that's what it was.

Well I brought my Xbox to a local shipping office (I didn't even know it existed until now, it's a hole in the wall) and they guy immediately knew it was an Xbox and said that he gets on average 10 a week. 10 a week for one facility!! I bet he's shipped back every Xbox in Lafayette at least once :rolleyes:
I really do hope I get a new one though because they are quieter and generate less heat, which helps eliminate this red ring of death from what I've heard.
And I haven't played through any of the Lego games. I tried the demo of Lego Star Wars but I never got into it. Right now I'm waiting for Star Wars Force Unleashed, Ghostbusters, Tomb Raider Underworld, and Splinter Cell Conviction. Of course, almost all of these games were supposed to come out last year :mad:

You should buy a cooling fan for it. They have one made specifically for a Xbox or you can get one of the cheap ones from WalMart that is made for a laptop.

Even a small desk type fan would work.

I just finished off GTA IV and Black Site: Area 51. I'm going to go back and see if I can go through Black Site on the most difficult level.

If there's one thing I DON'T need for my 360, it's MORE NOISE! I hate how loud it is already...I can't imagine more fans. :eek:
On a serious note, my Xbox is in a well ventilated place though so it's just a crappy older model and I doubt any fan can fix it because it's the heating/cooling cycle that I think is causing the soldering on the heatsinks to crack and fail because it was done cheap.
