The 'what's in your handbag?' thread. A women's handbag can tell you alot of things about her ;) Also im nosey and want to know what you have in there hehehe :D What is the bag like that you are carrying at the moment? and do you keep any strange things in there? :rolleyes: Is there anything that you take EVERYWHERE with you? Let us know I think it would be fun! At the moment im carrying a pink Juicy bag, this is what lurks inside... 1. my purse, It dosnt have much money in it LOL! I dont usually carry cash around with me because I find it easier to pay with my debit card. But I have lots of 1p and 2p coins in there that have been there forever, along with a whole load of old reciepts I dont even need. :rolleyes: 2. my phone, Im not the sort of person who needs to carry their phone everywhere I go. It dosnt bother me if I forget it or if the battery dies, nobody important ever rings me anyway LOL! But it is handy when I have some spare time so I can check out my Facebook. 3. My hairbrush, It is coconut scented. :D 4. My car and house keys 5. A small Hello Kitty perfume, I bought this simply because it was really cheap and smelled nice (apples). I was too frightened to put one of my more expensive perfumes in by bag incase it smashed so yep I carry this one around. :p 6. Tissues, Aways good to have at hand in this cold English weather! *achoo!* 7. Hand sanitizer, I was given this at work when the whole swine flu thing was going on... always handy to keep I guess. :) 8. A huge tub of hot chocolate, Okay now I know this is a bit weird but I have a bit of an obsession with Galaxy hot chocolate. Yes I carry it around with me but usually just for when Im at work. :rolleyes: 9. My headphones 10. A compact mirror 11. Lipgloss 12. Breath freshener 13. A fork, Yes I know another strange one! But the forks at work are NOT something you would want to eat from so I tend to carry my own around LOL. :rolleyes: NOW YOU! :D |
Aww, work is slow and this sounds fun.. My purse is a Kathy, black and silver faux snake skin, with a Kathy key chain accent with added charms of a dog bone, dog dish, and I love my dog charm, hanging off the side. What's inside... 1. My wallet...I have a big wallet that opens tri fold. It holds a lot but the only thing in there I ever use is my debit card, my credit card, and my driver's license. I do have a little cash stowed away in a secret pocket but it won't take me anywhere soon.... 2. My checkbook. I don't know why I carry it because I use the debit card. Security, I guess. 3. A small Mary Kay makeup bag that actually contains my 911 items. A nail clipper, a file, a small pocket knife, a needle, a cuticle trimmer, and some eye drops. I have a thing for nail clippers, I can't be without one. If my nails get too long, I bite them, so I must keep them short! 4. Ibuprofen....nuff said 5. Rolaids....it spells relief :D 6. A few pens (for my checkbook I never use, so I never use the pens) 7. A snack size pack of animal crackers for when I get the munchies. 8. 3 Packs of Gum. I am always giving out pieces of gum to people. Next..... |
MY PURSE: A white Roxy bag no leather for this animal lover, large hobo style, holds a lot. My pocket book: green element (not leather) Holds cash change cards licence and a few special drawings from when my little bro and I were knee high. My Keychain: lots of pretty keys and a huge M keyring. Zipper pocket holds: Dr. Pepper chap stick by Bonnie Bell Aveda gloss and my sunglasses. Little sparkly green thing: nail stuff, file, clippers etc. Recent copy of Shape mag house alarm remote trident gum math homework Pens pencils Avon Skin so soft bug guard Bullfrog sunblock Instant Apple Cider packets Well that about sums up the contents of my purse. Pretty random! |
Hmm.... my purse is a MESS! Needs major cleaning. But the basis of what I have. My little brush for my hair. Deodorant (always stay fresh! ;)) my wallet little mirror hand sanitizer something dog-related (usually poop bags, or treats) my cell phone (if it's not in my pocket) my Kodak Playsport camera pack of gum chapstick a few pens/pencils nail clippers Midol and Motrin |
My purse has: Blackberry Makeup bag with all my makeup from mascara to foundation also tweezers, pair of scissors, makeup brushes small travel hairspray Coach Wallet that is currently empty because it needs to go in for a repair Coach Zip Wallet that now has credit cards, debit cards, license etc that belongs in the wallet. Frequent Shopper card from every know store that has one No cash~never carry cash and when I do have a few dollars it goes to my daughter for lunch Pen Sunglasses Business cards w/ holder Bag of cough drops Pack of Stride gum Pictures of the kids (both kind :D) Advil pill container with various pills for any occasion Batteries Kleenex Couple of hair bows for Bogey Hair tie for Megan Receipts Car keys with a pig and Yorkie keychains attached for my house and car keys Second key chain with various other keys (kids cars, husbands car, neighbors houses, lock on the gate, mailbox key) Tampon and pad~not sure why they are still there since I was Spayed 2 yrs ago :p Hand sanitizer which has come in handy for my eyes! *JK! (I went to this and the above and ditched my wallet as I could never find anything when I needed it). --Bottle of Lortabs (I'm a chronic pain person) --Envelope full of coupons (most appear to be expired) :) --Keys --Hand sanitizer --Small Lint roller for my Jack Russel's constant white hair shedding --Stride gum --Nail file (yorkies on it) and clippers --Brush and comb --Key ring full of all the discount and ID things from stores --Eyeglass cleaning cloth --Floss and two of those little Bliss toothbrushes -- 4 ballpoint pens --Assorted trash that is now going in the garbage (thanks!) --There was also a Subwy mint in the bottom but I just ate that! :) I think I am going to order one of those purse organizers that you can transfer from one purse to another, as each of my purses has their own stash of unnecessary things in the bottom. Mary Maxim has a set of two on sale for $12.95 this week! Forgot to ask -- so what does that say about me? LOL! |

My purse, a mauve Coach (I have a Coach obsession), has TONS of stuff in it: - big Coach wallet (w/checkbook) - Coach makeup bag with bandaids, compact, eye drops, swiss army card, contact case, hair doodads, and nail glue...no actual makeup - Coach change purse with all of my medications in it - pepper spray - hand sanitizer - chapstick - gum - cell phone - little Coach wallet with coupons and store cards that I don't use too often - Rosary beads - hairbrush - feminine products - sunglasses - glasses case - my Epipen - photo envelope with pics of my nieces and nephews (which REALLY need to be updated) There's other stuff that comes and goes, but these are the things that are always in my bag. |
You would be proud of me -- I just ordered this: Kangaroo Keeper Mary Maxim - HOME SOLUTIONS - Kangaroo Keeper for my purse and will be much more organized next time someone asks. :) Now I can just change the same bunch of junk from one purse to another! :) |

My purse, a black fabric Dooney & Burke with brown leather straps and handles and DB on it. Its a heavy purse and I'm not sure I'm loving it. I take minimal stuff with me actually.... - About 8 types of lip balm, but of course I only use 2 of them - Sunglasses are a MUST. I wear them all year long and firmly believe they are the reason that at 33 I have not even the tiniest lines around my eyes yet! :) - Cell phone, droid 2, woohoo :) - Gum, sweet mint orbitz - Wallet - never cash in it, but my debit card, stamps and license - Car keys with yorkie keychain - Advil - Rolaids - Checkbook and pen - Cigs & lighter (bad bad bad me!!! :( ) |
I just have a small Miche bag In it at the moment is: a small makeup mirror wallet small pocket calculator E-book reader small packet of Kleenex Comb In the side pockets I have: small powder compact couple of lipinks eyeglass wipes a very small ziplock type bag with sweetener packages (for when I go to my friend's that doesn't have sugar for my cup of tea) That's it - oh and the E-book reader is only in there because I didn't take it out after I got back from the doctor's yesterday, I don't usually have it in my bag. |

I have a blue Vans cloth bag. I think it's too big! Inside I have: -Oreo cookies only because they happen to be there at work, in fact, I'm going to take them out right now. -lip balm -Mickey Mouse wallet. Yes, the kind little kids have, tri-fold with velcro. Very mature. -glasses and cleaning cloth -cell phone -desk keys for work, and 2 flash drives, also for work. -keys (house/car) Now, any other day I have my phone and wallet in my back pockets, and my keys in my front pocket and I'm good to go! I hate carrying a purse. :thumbdown: But if I have Kaji with me, I have my Kwigy Bo. It's more like a diaper bag! I always have the above mentioned plus -poop bags -snack sized ziplock bag with kibble -a couple of toys -harness -retractable and 6ft leash (depends where we're going) -a hoodie or a tee, if not jammies -brush for Kaji and hair clips. and that's it I think. Oh and water in case Kaji gets thirsty. |
