I don't know if this counts--but several times in my life, from a 12 year old on-- I have FELT someone or something standing over me in bed. When this happened, I would keep my eyes shut tight, scared to death to see what it might be! I was at my uncle and aunt's house in Houston back in '72 when I first experienced this. Through conversation I found out later in my stay that the first owner died in their house. I never revealed what I felt fearing redicule from Mom and my relatives. It has happened several times since, at home and away. |
Back when I was dating my husband I was visiting his families home and everyone in the family who was home was down the hallway opposite me. I was in the livingroom looking in the mirror where I could see the hallway behind me where they were. I looked into the mirror and saw a platinum blond boy around the age of 16. I turned around and no one was there. I asked my husband if he were just there and he said no. Mind you my husband has brown hair and was about 22 or 23 at the time. Several times we would hear footsteps and see the shadows in the same hallway where I saw the boy. His parents built their house and no one ever died there. No house was built on the land prior...etc. My sister-in-law who still lives at home takes pictures and there are these "orbs" all around my mother-in-law in the photos. She also will take pictures of things her cat is "staring" at and the same "orbs" will be what he is looking at. Strange. |

Would be interesting to find out who this boy is and why he is there. |

For example I live in a village called Westerhope, and this is what I found: Westerhope - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia So if I were experiencing similar things to you I would probably do some more research into the coal mines of the area and see if I could find anything about deaths. You could also try asking around your area for people who have lived there a very long time, see if they can tell you a bit about its history. |
About 6 months ago, my sister and I were on our way home. I was driving. I was telling her that I believe my guardian angel is a male. She asked me how I knew...and I told her IDK why I believe it, but I just know. I cracked a joke and said "I'll bet he's hot too". Right then the car filled with the scent of a mans cologne. It was really strong and it smelled so good. The scent stayed with us until we turned on my street and were almost home. |
Also you can do a search for famous hauntings in your area. I live in Newcastle and this is what I found: Newcastle ghosts and hauntings - paranormal places and strange activity in northumberland Freaky! I especially love the dancing monk in the nightclub LOL ;) |

Do some research on the house. See if anyone has died in it. I would be curious to know this. 8 years ago I lived in a home where there were always strange things happening. The water would come on when no one was there. Lights would to. you would hear someone walking in the hallway upstairs when you were in the living room watching tv. Just little things and I really never let them bother me until one day my son was in the basement lifting weights and he ran up the steps, I think he took three at a time, when I asked him what was wrong he said he seen a little girl sitting against the washer. I did some investigating and found out that a little girl had died in that house. Needless to say we moved lol. I am not a ghost hunter. |

My husband's younger brother died in that house several years before. There were lots of strange happenings there. I dont think it was my deceased BIL though. |
St. Austine 2 Attachment(s) Okay, so for Halloween we decided to take our children to St. Augustine, one of the most haunted places in America. We took a walking ghost tour so that we could get some of the history, and boy did we learn a lot. On several of the spots, I took some pictures. Here are the two most interesting. Tell me if you think these are really ghost orbs. I should mention that they are there one minute, and then gone in the next picture. I would really like your opinions. |

I completely understand this! We have a ghost too. I named him Tom (like a peeping tom). My boyfriend and I moved into our house last December. It's a really old house. Weird things would happen. Dishes moved from out drainer to the sink while we were both in the living room. We see faces in the windows, mainly the office (which I wouldn't go in for months) and occasionally while i'm in the shower. Our motion lights go on all the time by themselves. My boyfriend asked around and tried researching the house and area and somewhere said that a guy died in the house. But he was never able to find that article again when we wanted to look at it again. I usually am not scared by him, I think he's friendly (I wish he would help with the bills though, lol) but sometimes I get freaked out and my dog goes crazy too. One time she was biting at my clothes pulling at them trying to wake me up then got on me and started growling at my bedroom door then kept growling and her head was moving like she was following something, then she started angry barking and growling and started pawing at me to move. SOOO CREEPY! Then another time (twice actually) I went to bed scared because I thought I saw something and I woke up in the middle of the night TERRIFIED! It felt like something was sitting on me, there was soooo much pressure. I tried moving but I was completely frozen and I got scared by that so I tried to get my boyfriends attention (who was sleeping right next to me) but I couldn't talk or scream. It was so scary. When my family comes to visit my Aunt actually said she was hearing things all night long. I wonder if we have 2. Tom, he's nice. Doesn't bother us. The worst thing he did was break our dishes when they went from the drainer to the sink. But the one London growls at and that was like suffocating me I think is something else. I think it was messing with London once. I was making her sleep in her crate in the dining room for a while and she kept screaming and barking in the middle of the night (she never really does that) and when I got downstairs in the morning she had bruises on her tummy and leg and a rash. The vet said she probably got the bruises when she tripped on the stairs and got bit by a bug or something. But idk.... |
