Pray it goes farther of the east coast than expected...... |
Currently in Long Island, we have some rain then sun, then downpours then sun. It is early yet so we do not have the wind yet. I don't think it is going to be very bad. 35-40mph winds and some heavy rain. I've been through plenty. Anyone remember Hurricane Gloria back in the 80's. She was Bad! : ) Good Luck up there in the Cape and surrounding areas. |
We have beautiful blue skies, sunshine but some wind here. Here's a link for tracking. Track Hurricane Earl, Track Tropical Storm Fiona / Stormpulse / Hurricanes, severe weather, tracking, mapping |

Great site, right?!!! |
Earl pased us with a few drops of rain and a halfharted low blow... he's a phony!!!! can you imagine how p...d the vacationers at the Outer Banks must be after they had to cut their vacation short and then... nada... ojwej!!! |
Hi Rose How is Lilly and Levi doing with the storm? Cassie is in my lap, Tabby is trying to get behind me, Samantha is on my legs next to my butt and Quigley is trying to push cassie out of my lap. I guess they sense the storm and want to get as close to me as they can. I have no room to move. LOL |
To funny Barbara, they must know something! Thankfully, I am happy to report that Earl is over, the sun is shining on Cape Cod and I don't have so much a branch down in my yard! We did great, both dogs had baths this morning and we will all be going for a walk shortly. I hope everyone else did as well as Cape Cod. Thanks for all the well wishes it worked! |
We made out very well here in Southern NH too. I was in Southern Maine near the coast today and it was pretty windy, but that was all. We are so very thankful that all of our YT friends are doing well and that the storm is a thing of the past. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. :) |
I'm grateful that everyone was safe and Earl's now just a memory. A lot of vacationers were making their way back to the Outer Banks and other beaches yesterday. |
Im in southern NH about 40 miles inland and felt nothing of Earl, barely any rain or wind at all. woohoo I took the day off last week because I thought traffic would be nuts to get home from work at 5pm when they said Earl was going to hit. I felt bad for all those vacationers who put off going north until saturday and then sat in seriously bad traffic most of their ride up north. I could not believe the traffic on major highways going north at noontime on saturday. It was terrible. Glad I was going south! |
