Then you will also have read that I was not there at the time, unfortunately I have to work, that's why I joined yorkietalk I thought it wouldve been the quickest way to get good advice, also I did everything in my and our vets power to make sure everything went well, I did get some very good advice by some people and read and asked all I could to learn more however her little boy died and it was deviating for her and for me so this time it was all done properly I was there when they they tied and all went brilliantly this time, after the first time I got all my information from books, the Internet and most importantly my Vet who I have givin a small fortune, but well worth it I am givin 1 of my pups, daisy to my niece and I am keeping the other, and as I said before but you fail to read it properly is that you can get some good advice from this site if people take the time to reply, unlike some people I look after my yorkies very well they have brought great joy toMy home, I got them after my husband and my son both had cancer a year apart my life changed dramatically after that and I thank god everytime I look at their little faces |

Yes, people are being rude and it won't stop if these comments continue. It starts with every one of us. If you want people to be nice to you, you have to be nice to them. Simple as that. |

If a poll was taken here on YT, you would find that most of us, myself included, have or are still involved intimately in Yorkie rescue. We see so many young "accidentally" breed pups come into our rescue. Many who have chronic issues due to genetically passed on defects. Some that are serious enough that the pup does not ever stand a chance of a normal life. Allowing two pups to breed should be a well thought out decision, one involving genetic research and testing; as the quality of life for an animal and for the owner/cargiver are at stake. Sometimes these passionate people who have to deal with what was left of an inappropriate breeding, get angry. I know I have, and have said comments which were less then appropriate for the conversation. This does not excuse the behavior at all, it just maybe explains the rationale behind the words. |

For anyone feeling badly about YT, go to Pictures and watch Barney's 10th birthday smilebox. It will cheer you up. :D |

Also can I just add to this thread that sure some people may need to word things better but then again some people here are VERY touchy. How can anyone say anything right when there are always touchy people who look for fault in anything? (that wasnt directed at anyone by the way its just a general statement.) |
That was terrific. Thanks for suggesting that! |
What I can't understand is why we let comments from complete strangers bother us. Just because somebody says (or types) something doesn't make it true, and it doesn't change who I am or what I stand for. I really feel sorry for people who enjoy being blunt, rude, and just downright mean. Don't get me wrong, would love to live in Neverland.... where life is happy all the time (no wait, that's the Yellow Submarine), but we don't. So I stand behind my comment that life on YT would be much more pleasant if everyone would temper their passion with compassion. |
