thank you again everyone! We're going to visit her in a few hours. My dad was just there, she seems to be doing fine. They are waiting for test results. She may be home tomorrow, or monday, but probably no later than that. so over all, i think its been pretty good news. :)

I just saw it too...I am so sorry as I have talked to you in chat even and not mentioned it. I feel terrible and hope she is doing better and will come home soon and make a full and complete recovery.

Hey Megan, you and your Mom are sweet and valued members of this board. You know I've only been on sporadaically. I just caught this thread. I'm praying that your mom is now on her way to a full recovery. Keep us posted dear and let her know that she's being covered in prayer!

I have another update. Her sugar level is up too high, so they have to keep her there until it goes down. She has diabetes, we've known for a while, but its not the kind thats life threatning. Anyway, she'll probably be there through tomorrow. BTW- Tucker is going to visit today! :D

Oh, how cute that you can take Tucker.....could you stick Rusty in your purse?? very

I'm up and in a chair at the hospital so Kenny brought me my laptop. As I sat here reading everyone's good wishes it made me cry. (Even scared my nurse, but I told her they were good tears) Thank you to everyone who has sent good wishes, prayers and happy thoughts! It helps a lot. When I came in to the hospital I had "gall bladder like pain" but I had my gall bladder out 10 years ago, so that was not the problem. There is a cyst on my liver but no one knows what to do about it or if it is even causing the pain. They are going to try to treat it with medication. Unfortuanately my diabetes has gone out of control. I'm basically living on rabbit food and still my sugars are in the 300 to 400 range. (Normal is below 120) So I will be here until they get that under control.
Kenny and Megan are on their way up with Tucker! I'm in an Intensive Care Step Down unit, some people are here for months at a time (don't worry, not me!) But, the rules are very laid back. Because Tucker is a small dog they said he could come up. (I was ready to play the "servcie dog" card, but it turned out to not be necessary) I can't wait to see him! That will be the best medicine in the world. Sorry this is so long, guess I'm hungry for conversation. Thanks again everyone for your support. Teri

Hey everyone, i kicked my mom off lol. She is playing with Tucker! all the nurse's are gah gah over him! my mom is with most of the people who are here for a long time, and they all love him to, her "room mate" loves him. The bed is really comfortable haha! :)

chatting with her by email lately than I have in awhile. She's at Kent State.
I'm glad you told me but has it been three days . Geeee!!
